You do not need to use the self-timer to make it take all the shots successively. Just set the DRIVE mode to "continuous" and it will do this with a single shutter activation.
If you want to combine bracketing AND intervalometer, placing the DRIVE mode on "continuous" does not work. You have to use the 2" or 10" delay to get all your bracketed shots.

Can you simultaneously use exposure bracketing while using the intervalometer on the Canon 5D Mark IV? I will be photographing a total solar eclipse next month. I want to set up interval shots and bracket the exposures on each one.
