I used to give tech support for D-Link devices in APAC region where we used to give support for Power Line devices too, there are few things which have to be taken care before proceeding to buy these kits :- 1. You electrical wiring should be in a single phase, it does not work in houses with double phase. Desi bhasha me bola jaye to bijli ka meter ek hi hona chahiye. 2. Its better to pair devices in same room first and then take it to another room. Once devices are paired they don't disconnect, so once paired in same room, plug out second unit and plug it in a different room and it should be ready to go once connected. 3. Home light, (powerline indicator) should turn green, amber and red depending on the distance from the main unit. Green - Good || Amber - Fair || Red - Poor 4. You can extend power line units but for that there is no need to buy a pair, these should be available in single units too for extension purposes as you don't have to connect one more transmitter unit in order to further extend the powerline connectivity.

This device uses simple PulseWidthModulation technique. Power line has wave with 55Hz frequency, this wave is modulated with a high frequency wave and data is transmitted within using a transmitter receiver setup.

The difference in speed is because of wifi channel signal overlapping it has nothing to do with copper wires. You can change the channels in admin panel of router and make it different from other and problem may solve. Note - Check multiple channels and check and test speed as cross jammed has variations too.

Trust me it isn't suitable for Indian structure of electricity. It won't work for most households. TP Link wholesaler in Ahmedabad himself told me this in person. Majority of the people who have bought this come with complaints to him.

I guess its due to interference of 2.4 GHz bands, since both the routers are placed closely so there will be more interference as compared to the case when they have good distance Same happens when we have 2 person together speaking in same loudness, we can't hear as clearly when they are apart due to same phenomenon

It is only kam chalau stuff, there are so many overhead. Wireless systems carry high ping on top of that coaxiable cables are slow too. This device uses combination of both, so you cannot expect a super high speed network if you have fast internet. It has just range nothing else. Better for massive house.

Most probably, either two or all the three wifi devices are using same wifi channel for some reason, which results in collision. That's why speed is reduced.

The speed could be low due to interference. 2.4GHZ pe max 80-100 mbps lol. Bhai 300MBPS theoretical hai mana but 200 mbps ke upar araam se mil jaayega. You should have used the utility called iperf to test the speed between the 2 network endpoints.

As per your question bro! When they both are near then the channel get disturbed! Like you always say that more connection on same channel makes speed slow! And when u change the room then this makes the channel space more which means more speed than earlier😵‍💫😵‍💫 hope u understand 🌛
