Extended Interview | Huda Kattan On Building The Next Billion-Dollar Brand 

Huda handled this beautifully because it’s pretty clear that the interviewer is not that interested in what she has to say. She runs a Billion Dollar company and we are talking about photoshop. Why not ask about her processes, her marketing, sales strategies, production, manufacturing, R&D, literally anything that has to do with the actual business. The questions were very surface and seemed like she didn’t think Huda has any real depth to her. As women we have to fight so hard to be seen. This should have been an opportunity to shine a huge light on her BILLION dollar brand.

Interviewer needs to be fired. It's like watching a kid pretend to be an adult. Huda is awesome like always!!

The lady interviewing is either uninterested or going through something. Her interview is just... bland. Huda is a powerhouse so she carried this session otherwise it would have fallen flat.

Feeing a lot of negativity from the interviewer. It’s a shame. It’s obvious the interviewer has her own opinions on the ‘beauty industry’ but what she should be doing is recognising another females huge accomplishment. Having come from very humble beginnings to a self made millionaire is nothing short of absolutely amazing!!!! There is far too much emphasis on what people do wrong these days. I do not follow influencers but I have followed Huda since she started on your tube. She’s incredibly business savvy and she obviously loves and believes in what she does. Kudos to her.

I liked this cause it's Huda Kattan, not because of the interviewer.

I'm a little "anti" influencer, but this woman is far from that. She is so well spoken, down to earth, kind-hearted and humble. I'm not a huge follower of the YT beauty community and feel is much of the same thing repeated, but Huda is unique. What a lovely woman. Well done to her.

The Host is unprofessional and simply terrible at interviewing. Huda went through the interview graciously, despite how distracting that interview was with her nonchalance!

I don't understand how the interviewer could only base her questions on photoshop, filters and editing whilst missing on asking important questions on how strategic Huda was in building the Company from ground level to the top. She is not building her interview rapport in an effective way.

The ENTIRE INTERVIEW had an undertone of condescendence from the interviewer. It seemed like every question was her trying to break Huda down or discredit her. Huda literally had to keep resetting the tone of the interview with her answers. It’s giving off the vibe she jealous. I honestly feel like if it was a Jenner or Kardashian the energy would’ve been way more charismatic and that’s VERY TELLING on Forbes part!

Hmmm Huda has empowered so so many girls/women. She deserved a much better way to be interviewed. She wasn’t even praised enough for ALLLL of her accomplishments and the questions weren’t even deep or focused on important things. There’s nothing wrong with no makeup & glammed out makeup. Both are fine, beauty is versatile. Huda expressed it beautifully.

Instead of utilising her time to speak about entrepreneurship, her journey and her tips, she used the time to criticise an industry that is born from the patriarchy, whilst tearing down a powerful feminine leader like Huda. So disappointing Forbes.
