Westchester County Executive George Latimer has defeated incumbent Jamaal Bowman in the New York Democratic primary race for District 16, CBS News projects.
They keep referring to Latimer as a "moderate" Democrat. People are going to quickly learn that Latimer is a solid progressive. However, the difference between Latimer and Bowman (and his ilk) is that Latimer understands who his constituents are and that his job is to produce results. Which has done for decades. Bowman will evaporate into the ether of history.
Bowman was running with chanting words that divide and Mr Latimer runs with hopes of UNITY . That is how we should be is stand together not divide. All of the issues we have now is caused be division that men like Bowman . Trump 2024 will bring UNITY as welll.
Well, despite he is still a Democrat, Latimer is right about supporting Israel, inclusion, and both parties working together. Let's see if it's all BS and if he can work with President Trump if he becomes our 47th. So many that talk the talk but don't walk the walk.
