Hi, we're about to extend an ice cream van fibreglass body which ive cut down the middle to put onto a new van where the wheel base means about 800mm gap, We'll extend the wooden frame inside and ensure everything is as sturdy as possible, but do you think it'll be possible to join both sides with no clear lines or weak points (tapering the inside surface helps with this?) And saying that there is a skin on the inside of the van too so would you start with the inner or outter? Many thanks Mark
Could this be used on a bonnet where I have to extend a straight edge down ward and make a flange for adhesives because the height different of scoop and bonnet
This is close to what I need to do on the bottom of my Scamp trailer fiberglass door. Is the strip of fiberglass that you used as a sort of mold taken off or does it become part of the bonnet?
