Quick question pal, does the 2.5mm socket wire have to run through conduet when it inside metsec metal stud walls, isolated with kingspan?

What depth back boxes do you use and what is the usual wall plasterboard thickness

What happens if the electrician has notched out the bottoms of the joist where you have brought the wires down the wall to the light switch

Hi Kev the builders are going to hate you when they kingspan that ceiling . Run you're cables in the airgap .
