Great video...first impressions though is that there is limited external storage space for things like camp chairs, folding table, BBQ etc. What are your thoughts🤔

As newbies, we didn’t really think what we’d need/require on the road & so wasn’t considering external storage. Now after 12 months we’d love extra storage but that also means you could possibly carry things you rarely need. When looking for those must have items we have learned to be creative & look at space saving versions. We get by using the luton for our chairs & table (collapsible light weight camp style) & the BBQ fits in near the battery. It just takes some thought. Staying with a similar length & layout in the entry level motorhomes, none of the others considered at the time (Leura, Conquest or Pinto) offer any more storage, some less. Again it’s a personal choice. You might need to step up to a longer model or consider a rear ’U’ dinette/bed layout to free up possible options at the back.

hi Guys can u tell me what was the cost of inventer and what else had to be done,Apollo are saying $8,000, they say u need this that and over things, we are waiting for ours not until dec 2022 we ordered extra battery and 170 more solar,we didnt upgrade inventer because of cost,we want to do alot of free camping

Hi Greg, no bullshit here. We paid $1170.00 (23/01/21) & prices change & It’s currently listed on their options price list at $1407.00 - not sure what $8k covers (?) We did get a extra house (AGM) 100ah deep cycle battery (currently $633.00) we didn’t upgrade to lithium due to cost & being novices we had no experience to draw upon. Apollo’s Lithium battery is $1901.00 We didn’t get extra solar panel - there has been mixed messages but we were told due to supply constraints & streamlined production Apollo wouldn’t be offering Solar panels at the time but they are now listed at $429. The inverter runs a dedicated power point & we’ve successfully used it to power laptops & vacuum the motorhome. It will not run the A/C or microwave unless you get several batteries & solar panels. There is a Daintree FB page & has a bit of good information available on there if you join that. There is a member whom solar/electrical stuff he is very knowledgeable on. You can use this link to get there. facebook.com/groups/357631709028390/ On our recent trip we ‘free camped’ for 6 days that was our limit as the fresh water/grey water & toilet were at their limits. It was sunny every day & power consumption used for lights, water /toilet pump, radio, tv, bed function, charging devices (usb -12v) Hope that helps

Hi guys really liked your videos got some good pointers about accessories Can you tell me how far the mirrors stick out from the side of the body it doesn’t give details of the total body with in the specs Cheers Peter

Hi Peter, our FB page (rvtravellinghusbands) has a post that could help you with all the dimensions. Otherwise there’s a PDF document on the Windsor Daintree group we run on FB as well. But the Renault states the Master has an overall width without mirrors is 2070mm & overall width including mirrors is 2470mm. Windsor state the Daintree is 2331mm wide. Therefore the mirrors stick out from the body of the Cab by 200mm each side. They stick out past the habitat body by 70mm. Hope that helps you

Hi, does the Renault engine need the 'AdBlue' additive to comply with Euro emission standards? Great videos BTW. :)
@rvtravellinghusbands
@rvtravellinghusbands 2 года назад
No, adblue is not needed, well not on Australian delivered vehicles as our emission standards aren’t the worlds best… Thank you

Hi Where did u get Sun shades for Cabin.?
@rvtravellinghusbands
@rvtravellinghusbands 2 года назад
There are made in Australia by Vantasticrvparts in QLD. 9 layers, 3 piece premium suction clips. Custom made to fit vehicle (Renault master) Quite pricey but worth it, in our opinion. here’s a direct link to the website & if you take this link you will get a promotional discount.
