Extra 300 RC Plane DIY 

I feel like I’m in the stone age still cutting parts for my RC planes by hand 😅 Great to see the building techniques evolve on this channel from relatively simple construction to beautiful works of lightweight art. Truest example of “lighter flies better”.

Hoping once my life quiets down I can get my laser printer set up and also pick up a good 3d printer. I miss building RC planes. It's been decades! Love these videos

Love your hybrid builds using foam board, ply and balsa giving strength but light weights. Always enjoy watching you create these from scratch. I think both you and Roolaid are the top scratch RC plane builders. Keep it up!

It's beyond the limits what you created here. Wow. I like it overall from scratch to finishing. Especially constructing it in Fusion360 (I think you did it with Fusion) and animating parts floating together, because I try to learn this part of our nice hobby currently. 👍🌅

Это уже такая ябы сказал ВЫСОКОТЕХНОЛОГИЧЕСКАЯ и модель и сборка. Тут не каждый с ней справится. Мне очень понгравилась идея с профильной алюминиеворй трубкой в центре для соосности при сборке фюзеляжа.

Incredible built once again! Great mix of techniques and ingenious idea keeping everything straight with the aluminium piece. You never cease to amaze, every new plane you build is even more advanced and masterful. Do you still figure your plans out using Blender or did you switch to actual CAD software in the meantime?

Если интересно - есть более простой способ сделать болванку для фонаря. Менее трудозатратен и неоднократно опробован на судомоделях. Фанерный каркас заполняется между шпангоутов пенопластом (пеноплекс или та же 5мм подложка бутербродом), выступающее за шпангоуты срезается, шкурится начерно, покрывается шпатлёвкой, шкурится начисто. Единственный минус - пенопласт со временем усаживается (уменьшается в объёме), то есть через несколько лет придётся делать новую болванку.

Делал тоже самое, кроме радиоуправления, в авиамодельнои кружке. И тогда это считалось для пацанов 10-15 лет вполне обычным явлением. А сейчас нас это смотрят как на колдуна во какое то....
