I'm here about to start my micro box braids...as I watch this video it gives me the motivation..an I love the fact you did free parting. Thats me for back an sides being I have a pixie cut ...so satisfying to know they don't have to be perfect but get it done an secured. I love your braid with me videos, they came out great. I've had butt length Burgundy box braids in for a month now. Still loving them. My grandma did them, of course with me helping braid the rest of the way down

I did the big chop in December, so its April and Im in that inbetween phase and I HATE it.. lawdd I look the fool. The fact that you standing up .. chileeee Im gone be sitting down watching next flex and I may take a day of PTO to get it done quicker
Yes to all of this! Life started LIFINGGGG for a bih, so I’ve cut bykeeee 😂😂😂 (nail stickers, self-braiding) and I’ve come to the realization that the smaller the better! Your braids look TF goodT! (Not advice at all) but I start in the back to get it out the way 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m going this small my next go around. I think smaller braids will help with my gripping as well.

Love your braid with me videos! I watched a couple of your vids before I did my first set of knotless braids on myself a couple weeks ago. They’re a little loose because my grip wasn’t tight enough but I’m learning, practicing, and trying and that’s what will make me great! what hair gels do you use when braiding? shine and jam seems to be greasy and i can't grip my hair tight enough. If anyone else has a suggestion please feel free to comment! Thank you 🙂
I just decided I’m gonna try knotless on my own hair, been practicing on a mannequin all week. I think if i part and braid down 2-3 inches one day, i can spend the next day braiding my hair down. Knotless aren’t hard AT ALL, if u can do a single braid u can do knotless.

Hi Michelle, thank you so much for watching❤. Yes they can be done as Knotless, however, the parts must be straighter than what I did here 😂. I might try the Knotless next time.

Actually these are not free parting to me, because you are actually parting the hair. I assumed free parting is you grab a certain amount of hair without truly anything but your fingers to grab hair!
Thank you so much for this beautiful video! I recently lost my hair to chemo and it used to be to my waist. All the positive affirmations I do daily still isn’t helping me feel pretty with my short hair. It’s only about 2 inches and braids are the only extensions that might stay for me so I’m going to give it a shot so I can have beautiful princess hair again!! (Sorry for the TMI I say it’s a cancer side effect I’m hoping I get over soon lol)
