Small facts on Gods Feast: Xenophanes outfit is a obvious reference to his appearance in the cancelled Christmas song: Slaybells. Lord X’s outfit is subtle but references a drawing done by his creator that depicted him playing the piano because apparently Lord X really enjoys playing the piano or I suppose the organ.

I think it should be clarified that scourge's appearance in god feast is based on his super form

For the D-side cover of milk, it is actually a full reference to the Sunky game: “Sunky’s Schoolhouse”, where sunky makes a school house for him and all his friends, and Mighty is the principle. Once you reach the fourth floor (i think), you reach Mighty’s office, full of jam bottles. Once you complete all of Mighty’s missions, robotic gets mad and sends Mighty flying out the window.

Actually, for Scourge’s design, it’s based of his Super form, just like Fleetway SUPER Sonic… And the CD they’re singing on in Endless might be a reference to the Sega CD demo where Sonic is literally standing on a… CD lol

Hey! Great video! Though there’s something you missed. D-sides Milk is based on an actual fangame called Sunky’s Schoolhouse, which is a parody on Sonic’s Schoolhouse, just like the original Sunky games are a parody on the Sonic games. In the fangame, you play as Robotnik trying to steal the 7 chaos emeralds which are all in… well, Sunky’s schoolhouse! The song also references a specific moment in the fangame, in which Robotnik is tasked by Mitee (who is I guess the schoolhouse’s principal?) to test out a new game he made and to get exactly 37 pink donuts to refill his jelly jars. However, when Robotnik returns, he finds out he collected PURPLE donuts instead of pink ones, in which he kicks Mitee out of the school from the wall, just like he does with Sunky in the school. Another minor thing you forgot to mention was that God Feast is basically D-side Slaybells (a cancelled Christmas themed .exe song). Sonic is also wearing the same scarf he was going to wear for Slaybells

One fact: the Lore game over screen has Ved super angry, though idk what it’s a reference to. Tenma’s stage is based on the Sega CD Showcase originally said to be a Sonic port to the Sega CD. One last one is that the Dream version of Lord X is playable with the debug menu, with his right animation seeing Lord X in his mouth with a sign saying help and also doing the SpongeBob sad face, and it kinda gives me mad Wile e coyote vibes

“2” things you got wrong: 1. Mitee is pronounced Miht, (as in oven mit) then tee (as in tee ball) 2. D-Side Milk takes place on the 4th floor of the fanmade Sunky game “Sunky’s Schoolhouse” created by Bimbus Bobus. (Definitely go play btw) in the game, Mitee gets mad that Robotnik collected all of the purple donuts and not the pink donuts. Robotnik gets angry & kicks Mitee out of a window he’s standing behind. However, in the song, the complete opposite of this happens & Mitee kicks Robotnik out of the window instead. Edit: (Possibly not right, just a theory. A GAME THEORY) In the beginning of the song, Robotnik goes into Mitee’s office and instead of being greeted with Mitee, he’s greeted with Sunky instead. The “On Break” sign indicates that Mitee is doing something else & told Sunky to run his office while he was away. Robotnik got impatient because he wanted the key to open up the big lazer gate that was blocking his path. So he kicked Sunky out of the building. When Mitee arrived, he saw the damage Robotnik caused to his beautiful, beautiful office. He got pissed, and kicked Robotnik out as well.

Fact about tenma and Majin, did you know that majin has cheekbones and tenma has a mustache which is opposite of majin, this is because in the OG sprites of majin they couldn’t tell if it was cheekbones or a mustache causing people to debate about it and eventually the creator said they were cheekbones, Which is why tenma has a mustache.

d-sides probably have the best remixes tbh

Fun fact: the sunky dside verison takes place in the office of the game Sunky's Schoolhouse

Theres technically 2 sets of D-Side Sonic characters, the Mighty replacement ones, and the more traditional ones. The designs Sunky and Eggman are based on are of the more traditional designs. Some other fun facts about the traditional style D-Side Tails and Knuckles are that their both based on the Fox bullies from Sonic Origins and Rankles the Otter, a fake character created for a fake competition in a magazine, respectively.

my favorite piece of D-Sides information is one i'm responsible for. Mitee's chromatic was originally voiced by ItYaBoiJoseph (his actual VA in Sunky's Schoolhouse) before being changed due to a grooming scandal. i was one of the victims and i'm still so happy about it god bless the dsides team 🙏🙏

Reference you missed! The CD boyfriend and d-side majin stand on I think is a reference to the Sega CD demo shown on game conferences in the 90s, where sonic also stands on a cd. For years people thought this was a screen from the cancelled ports of sonic 1 and 2 to the cd, only being proved wrong a couple years ago

5:17 omg I knew there was someone in the sprites but I never knew it was the next character that's so clever n cool! also small detail i noticed, in Vectormans right sprite, Alexx Kid looks as if he's doing a scissors hand gesture, likely a reference to the rock paper scissors minigame in his games
