greetings from Scotland, i have a tank g and have spent the last week making my own captures from .nam files, i have discovered that if you use the nam .wav reference file which is longer and more varied than the ori.wav file, the profiles are much better and require only around 400 passes to achieve a low variance, thought i wouls pass this information along to the community. cheers Neil

I ordered a blackbox and they shipping me. My chain will be: comp > overdrive > distortion > EQ > blackbox (noise gate > mod> preamp> delay> reverb> cabinet) > DI box. Do you think it's right to chain. How to get better sound with that pedals?

Hey mate! That's awesome! I would put the modulations after the Preamp, together with the ambiences, but it is a matter of taste! Not right or wrong! For the EQ... it depends on what you intend to do with it... It works there pretty well, but it can be also after the Blackbox to fine tune your Cab Sim, for example! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥

After putting IR and renaming it, does it really show "CAB 1, CAB 2, CAB 3, etc." On the device itself? And not the ones I renamed it to?

It appears the name on the top of the small screen according to how you named. I always keep the number in the beginning for reference, but it is a personal choice! The same for the preamp! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥

Can this be plugged straight into an amp or do I need to get more equipment for it. I'm thinking of getting on for my son's birthday.

You can, specially if you will have the possibility to plug into the effects loop. You need to disable the IR stage and you should be good to go. If you plug in front of the amp, you need to equalize a little bit better, but still doable! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥

Irmão blz? Estou começando nessa parte da tecnologia. Me tira umas dúvidas: captura é o ampli, profile é “a equalização” e IR a caixa, certo? Existem pacotes que já vem com o IR selecionado junto? Como chama o conjunto todo?

Fala Carlo! Exato. Existem sim. Existem captures que são feitos dos combos, ja incluso preamp, power amp e Falantes. Nestes casos é o capture do Amplificador completo. Quando selecionar esse tipo de capture, precisa desativar o bloco de IR, se não você aplica um "IR em cima do outro" e o som vai ficar estranho! Espero que tenha ajudado! Um abraço! 🎛️🔥

@@carlodeluca ⁠preset é o programa da pedaleira com todos os elementos da cadeia de sinal (Fx, mod, reverb, delay, etc)! O preset te entrega o timbre pronto!

For sure! You just need to shut down the preamp and IR session, or load an acoustic Preamp capture with an acoustic guitar IR! Suggest also to edit the signal chain placing the IR as first in chain! Cheers mate! 🎛️🔥
