Cebu's rocks composition is primarily of limestone rich in calcium carbonate that gives Cebu's coastal waters, streams and rivers, springs and waterfalls, their turquoise blue color. So wherever you go around Cebu, you would notice the turquoise blue color of the coastal waters, waterfalls, springs, streams and rivers. Cebu has the largest dolomite deposits in Asia and the Dolomite Mining Corporation in Alcoy is also the largest dolomite mine in Asia. Cebu is thought to be among the first and oldest island to emerge from the ocean floor to form what is now the Philippine islands. The abundance deposits of limestone rocks, dolomite minerals, carbon mineral, and natural gas. Cebu also has the largest carbon deposit in the country and used to export carbon during American period until the 1970s. In fact, Cebu's oldest and biggest public market, Carbon Market, is so named after its former site as the carbon transshipment hub of Cebu during which the carbon mining and export was still a huge industry in Cebu.
Cebu is crisscrossed by a network of roads connecting the eastern and western towns passing through scenic mountains, rolling hills, farm villages, farmlands, valleys. I suggest you try driving through north to south passing the mountain roads only. You can do so next time you visit Cebu. Allocate at least, one week to do that to be able to follow the length of the Cebu Highlands Trail, the longest highlands trail in the country stretching from the southernmost point (Santander) to the northernmost point (Daan Bantayan) of Cebu.
Mantalongon in Dalaguete is a trading hub for most vegetables produced in the highlands of Dalaguete and neighboring towns. Though most of the vegetables traded in Mantalongon come from other areas. There are also minor trading hubs for vegetables in the highlands of Alcoy, Santander, Argao, Sibonga and Barili all in southern towns of Cebu.

Hello there. I am from Sweden and I did live i Badian for a couple months the year before covid started. I have drived my Yamaha scooter all over the Cebu island and enjoyed every day. One day i did go to that Sergios strawberry farm from the Dalaguete side. Back home to Badian i tried to cross the montain but ended up in the bush with no more drivable road. People told me to turn around as it was to dangeroues to continue. What i can see from your video a construction of a road is ongoing across the montain. I wiss to go there once a time to drive that road when its finised. Time will tell if i can. Live well.

Nice scenery pictures, now and then, but i can't see EXTREME ADVENTURES, not even a simple Adventure. For that you should go offroad but your bikes are not suitable for such pleasure. Anyway, enyoy your rides and have everytime a good trip.
Maganda kaso prone to accident ang kalsada.
