I been thinking of getting some Auxbeams maybe a large bar but for sure getting some small ones for my lawn mower... I like your testing method fairly realistic for offroad happenings... the hammers could be what you experience in the event a nice branch pokes the lens directly. I have been impressed with the reviews of these lights... I am definitely gonna pick some up.

currently doing some real world testing in winter conditions with a 22" auxbeam. its mounted in my bumper. It takes ice chunks at 75mph and hasn't shown signs of salt damage yet. these little suckers are tough for being cheap.
