would love this challenge on ur normal max traders account, i used to do this when i was boored, just go in to a raid with nothing and be true to myself to not use anny of the stuff i already had no matter what. and only sped what you gained from that day.
I must say: I absolutely love the fact that you put item descriptions when you use items. It really helps us who don’t play the game and don’t know a whole ton.
I second this... honestly, I have been playing this for years on and off since factory was the only map i had NO FCKEN IDEA that the basic painkiller tablets had -19 hydration hahaha!! Pays to read hey
The game is hot garbage that's really all you need to know it looks fun when watching but what you don't see is all the boring and ridiculous grind for what amounts to nothing more than a low rent survival Sim it's like dayz or rust without the open world and base raiding which is most the fun gunplay can't hold this title up cause health and healing is also ridiculously convoluted realism does not equal fun.
@real name let me guess, got your shit pushed in a couple raids and didn't want to get through the learning process so you go complain online eh? It's hard and overly complex by design bub. Keep crying.
That's how I imagined Tarkov to be, thrilling fights,, and making logical loot decisions to make the best out of what you have! Giving up M61 for some bolts is the best example. Love it.
Ha, yeah I mostly just play Tarkov to have a good time and create something that will be fun to edit later. I can run around with mutants all day on my main account, and occasionally I will, but I just love building off-meta stuff or doing zero to hero type stuff instead most of the time
I wish Tarkov was more like this lol. Having to *actually* inventory manage and decide what to take, no traders (or at least very limiting ones), especially no flea market. Just finding shit in raid, taking it out the next raid, etc
@@StayFractalesque I know what I'm wishing for :p There's a very fun game called Into The Radius much like S.T.A.L.K.E.R for VR and it's honestly my favorite vr game. I think something more like that would be perfect for tarkov. Older weapons instead of super meta m4 builds destroying anyone without lvl 5-6 armour
I love that you think about the phone users by zooming in to make it easier to see, and by subtitling all the small noices so we all can tell what is going on! Really shows your effort and thought in creating these videos.
@Logan Reed yea. When my friends with iPhones are playing a video for me I get so annoyed because I can never hear them. I keep my phone on like 10% volume
I love these types of videos. I try to find someone who I can relate to in the game and someone who isn’t all meta and likes to do new things. Good stuff SwampFox. I love it and would love to see a Day 2!
Hey thanks. I will probably also do the opposite on my main account and make a T7 video for fun haha, but we will continue Day 2 of this account soon as well
Damn straight! Imo these "Meta Gameplay" RU-vidrs are literally preventing each wipe from reaching its full potential.. I usually play 4-8 weeks into a wipe and then I stop.. I'm not against min-maxing in any sense of the word.. But making videos on it and making it so every other mofo goes by the same playstyle and typical loadout makes a game which in its essence is made to be unpredictable.. Very predictable, which is a damn shame.. Its within those first 8 weeks of a wipe the game shines the most.. Where you have to make do with some shitty gear and instead rely on knowledge, experience and skill.
Definitely would love to see a Day 2 and a Day 3 for sure. I really like seeing limited resources being put to the best possible use. It's just more tangible to me than fully kitted Labs runs or Meta PvP steamrolling hatchlings lol.
I'm on my first wipe and this video is very relatable and also shows something that I think gets lost in a lot of Tarkov content which is that skill in PvP can beat gear. I'm not sure when in the wipe this was done but these raids show a lot of ways to play well with crap gear and cheap weapons and that has a lot of value in itself. Great content!
You're videos are psychologically addictive. I think it's because we can feel the Tarkov fear and peril as it plays out. We are all secretly addicted to the worry and fear this game generates and can live it first hand in your videos. Keep doing you big dog.
This series is surreal. I'm someone who doesn't enjoy playing Tarkov myself because of how hardcore and much bullshit you can come across if you're less knowledged - so these videos are very motivating and enjoying to watch! Because of how clustered I feel Tarkov is, I tend to stay to games like STALKER where players are not stumling upon you all the time. :P Anyways, kindly make more of these videos, they're a bunch of fun! 🤘
@Oliver Lee I'm getting an extra to frame haha. This is my first really big merch drop and I'm happy to be able to offer such a high quality item and be in the rare situation where I can actually sign them for you all! Thank you for your support!
this is my first time watching your channel and tarkov content, and i genuinely love your editing! its helpful for people who dont play the game to know why you do something and its awesome!
Just bought and started playing EFT yesterday and you really show how much potential there is for me to enjoy this game! I also love that you put item descriptions as you use them being I have no idea what's going on 90% of the time. Can't wait to watch your channel grow!
not only did u do a challenge, but during the vid u had tips and explanations for healing and certain items, for a new player like myself that is a good thing to do for everyone who isnt as good at the game yet *earned a new sub btw*
Yeah me too; it's my favorite part of Tarkov for sure. I love the cool gadgets and high end gear, but they become less special to use when everyone can easily afford them and buy whatever they want on the flea imo. At least this wipe there are better limitations for the best stuff. I miss the old days when the VSS or RSASS could ONLY be gotten from the Customs marked room, and you'd freak out trying to escape the raid with those base models haha.
I came across your videos not long ago and I'm addicted! You do a really great job at describing what you're doing and why, and the item descriptions help a ton!
just a tip about the SKS, removing the rear sight makes it less accurate, so thats why some of the taps that missed in the start did! good content bro, liked it alot
Hi mate I’ve recently came across your channel and I’m getting a pc to play tarkov I’ve been learning a lot from your channel I appreciate the time and effort you put into the video and adding a description of the items you’re using it helps someone like me who has no clue get my knowledge up for when I actually finally play this masterpiece of a game keep up the good work new sub 👍🏼
I have been playing Tarkov for like a month now and the edits and description etc. Really help a lot. I learned so much just from this one video. Thank you very much
I love the little tooltips you put for the meds in the second raid. I imagine they’d help a lot of new players, especially if you expand them to the rare loot you pick up as well (what it’s used for, what quests or hideout sections need it). If you care for some constructive criticism, I’d recommend easing up on the zoom ins on the loot when editing, as it was sometimes difficult to figure out what you were trying to convey. Even as someone who played the old wipes and is now trying to come back to the game, I feel like this video has given me a few ideas on how to play and what mindset to have. All in all, this video’s brilliant! Keep up the good work.
You’re one of the most helpful tarkov streamer/RU-vidr I’ve watched, I have 2k hours and you’re still teaching me stuff and I love the amount effort you put into your videos.
man i love these kinds of videos, especially on tarkov. tarkov really is best when telling stories about gear sets or incredible raids. i only joined this wipe, but im pretty far into the grind. the tooltips for items that you use are pretty cool, i already know what the items do, but i sure know that watching this from the point of view of someone who doesn't play is really useful. keep up the good work man!
Agreed, Swamp needs a lot more recognition. Deserves a Tarkov item in my mind, for quality alone. Feel like his gameplay is the kind of stuff the Tarkov devs really intended with their game.
Print a map, trust me. Also, try not to get too over your head when killing. If you don't have health items you will die from a single shot even if it doesn't kill you instantly.
Good stuff , I like the full video of the journey from zero funds to good load out. Refreshing to see and watch your thoughts and what you are thinking when on raids 123 good content
123. Thanks bro, really enjoyable content. Not everything has to be high octane action. The commentating while playing is pretty cool to explain to the audience, thanks brother!
Great video! Of course 2. Cannot wait for this new adventure. Also cannot wait till my new desk pad is delivered. Slick editing, love the select chat interactions you left in. Like agood movie I was kinda surprised and wanting more after the hour and twenty mins was over so soon.
Aayy, thank you for the helpful feedback and for ordering a mouse pad, you'll love the quality. Glad you're enjoying the vids! I will stream a Day 2 soon and likely a followup video later on
Sir. I just looked you up on RU-vid like an hour ago because I was thinking to myself, “I haven’t seen a video from him in a while.” And now suddenly you post one? Can you please keep reading my mind. Love the content!
I watched this back when it first came out but came back to watch it again when I bought the game and it’s pve mode, to learn how to play the game, and your little tooltips that pop up when you use items is so mega helpful not only to learn what does what but also to help people who don’t play the game them selves, do you have any spacific videos you or some one else made that I should go watch to learn more? And keep up the good work making videos!
@@SwampFoxTV There was true oldschool one, which was running on MSDOS, XCOM UFO DEFENCE 1994, true legend. Nowadays XCOM's not the same, not classic turn based IMO, but they are very good too. But nostalgic first two parts in my heart are the best. There is modern remake of UFO DEFENCE, it calls Xenonauts, you can try it out, the author has kept all the key and basic things from the original, but atmosphere of original game in 8bit music was something, it was really creepy to take soldiers into unknown on mission against aliens. So if you are ok with old 8bit graphic i would highly suggest try original. There also in a cool book based on this XCOM but i wont sure there is translation of it, Vladimir Vasilyev - Enemy Unknown, it's kinda literaly walktrough in book variant BTW here you go trailer from the first one 1994 - watch?v=pX0Cm3N_n6k.
I've been enjoying the exact opposite of this challenge, how expensive can my PMC cost in a single raid? PIS PMC if you will (Priciest In Slot) .. of course, still functional and appropriate for the conditions, but literally the ThiccestOfThicc.. 😏😁👊 .. hope to see you out there! not bragging, just end game wealth to burn through .. If you kill me, you'll be stoked.. always check my pockets!
Ha, I have an older video titled '12 million rouble loadout' or something like that. We'll probably do that again on my main account this wipe if I can score a T7
Even a year later (204K squad), this is a great watch. I don't have the stomach for the stress Tarkov more than once or twice a year but these videos are a great watch and help me learn a bit each time.
I'll be running this (or very similar) again very soon. There's two or three vids coming before it, but if you like this I think you'll like these next ones too
I think you are one of my fav / best content creator in tatkov fr you have skills and know a lot about the game you deserve more p.s yeah the fact thats you put the item / heal thats you find or use on the screen is super nice
2!!!! BLESS you for giving descriptions-- want to playy tarkov but dont have a PC for it nor the time to learn. thought i was subbed before, just did and am gonna binge your movies. keep on, keeping on!!
I just got into EFT by playing SPT-AKI (the AI mods can make it pretty brutal) and your videos like this are really helping me understand the game more and more each watch. I know this is an old video but I wanted to say thank you anyway while I was thinking about it. Now if there was just some magic video that would embed the maps in my brain I would be happy. Spent all weekend grinding on Ground Zero and I still find myself a bit lost at times. I am dreading trying to find the Jager note in the woods without loosing all my loot while walking in circles.
Jagger's letter: find the airplane crash site, then walk straight out from the nose of the plane and you'll see his treehouse almost immediately. The letter is on the ground to the right if the house, at least in normal Tarkov; never tried SPT
@@SwampFoxTV yep. That’s exactly where it was. I kind of knew where but just finding your way around the maps can be pretty daunting as a beginner. Watching your videos is definitely helping with that as well so thanks again!
I still rewatch this/these series because of the amazing ambiance and overall ride and grind of the hardcore setting. Music is fucking perfect as well. 10/10
@@SwampFoxTV Yooo, I look forward to the content man! I got the bell on so I should know when it drops. Keep up the dope content and see you out there.
I normally just can't watch people play Tarkov. I normally watch DayZ stuff, like Soursweet. But man you make some good videos brother. Just works. Thanks for the entertainment man! You most definitely earned my sub quick.
@@SwampFoxTV Dead serious brother. Not some platitudes. I don't usually comment outside correcting extreme cases of stupidity when I see it. But had to let ya know man. I think something that really sets you apart as well is the infographics you pop up about items and what they do. It is so well done. Your videos are quite literally 10/10 for the tutorial aspect as well. You manage to pull of action packed videos whilst being the best possible learning aid for new players imaginable. That is freaking hard to pull off. On top of that you are chill af and not annoying like many creators who may generate over dramaticized content with EXCESSIVE cussing. Don't get me wrong I am a retired Chief Electronics Technician Submarines (E-7) and I have a sailors mouth. Your stuff just flows and looks like high cost, extremely professional, videos. I've watched a lot of Tarkov vids here and there, but never had the urge to play myself and now I actually want to play myself suddenly. You deserve the incoming increased success. Apologize for the Wall-of-Text, just letting you know why your vids work so well and to never stop haha.
@@SwampFoxTV oh also let me know if you saw this. I copy/pasted this from another/separate comment on this video. QUOTE/ 58:38 you see him down below at the very bottom right peeking you being a sneaky shit. I wonder if you noticed that at all, or anyone else for that matter. Though trust me I know it is SOOO much easier in hindsight.
