Thank You Faith!!!! I’ve been procrastinating and honestly it stems from being overwhelmed… then leading to more procrastination A vicious cycle… Started with move to new town Just at Start of COVID shutdown… then evacuated (same year) due to fire(s) I haven’t cleaned my blinds for aprox 4 1/2 years And then my Mom’s sudden health decline/ICU and dang more crises Plus my sudden need for surgery I just get caught up too with waiting for “ideal” time /proper decor/ storage/ etc etc Your video- thank you- has triggered thoughts…. It’s time for me to get doing & not waiting- plus stop fearing that if I start something Thank You for sharing 👍👍

You make me feel human, Faith! You are so real and authentic. I love it! When my kids attended public school, I would have a keepsake box for each of them. I would only save a few things each year.
My son will be in first grade and I want to save everything but I know I can't. I want to invest I a fire proof water proof container for pictures and paper. If something happens we can never get those things back.

Something I do with all the kids artwork/school work that gets sent home is save some, and give some away to family members. That way I can share it with them and also get rid of the clutter. I also do a rotation on the fridge of their newest work so its all shown off but not too much at once. It does pile up and get overwhelming. 😅
Hi there young lady ,great job getting your room back in order ,I put my window and blinds on a schedule of doing them twice a yr fall and spring time ,also washing down my baseboards and walls throughout my home and touching up doors and walls when seen needed in between as you said system needed to stay on top of our homes ,this way we’re not overwhelmed mentally or physically getting things taken care of ,love watching you grow as a woman and mother 🙏🏾🥰
Fantastic declutter motivation thank you so much 😇 I loved the paper declutter haha I was pressing pause like 20x trying to see if you'll have any nicer paper to toss like magazines/catalogues as I struggle so much to discard those. I was just a bit saddened when we've barely seen a magazine at 9:38 just going out of the camera frame haha 🥲But you've had so much that I totally understand you've had to use different camera angles and go fast, I was just hoping to at least see what it was and were it went 🤭 I hope that sometimes, when you'll need to toss those nicer ones when it's not a huge decluuter like that, that you'll film it, same as for any old clothes that can't be donated, those are the things I struggle the most to toss and I most of the time just put them in clean bags that will stay forever in the garage instead of mixing them right away with any normal trash so I can't change my mind on anything in the bag 😂

Hi Faith! I tell you, nothing ever goes 100% smooth without any bumps in the road. And I do everything little by little. It’s not so much that I’m procrastinating, but I have a immune disorder that causes widespread pain and flares that knock me off my feet. So I work as long as I can on little projects until I just have to quit. And maybe I DO procrastinate if I know im not feeling great. You’re doing great though. I think we are all doing the best we can. You have twin little boys that keep you busy, plus a job, plus trying to start your own business. Keeping up with the house and laundry and cooking all the meals is already a LOT. Can I please make a couple of suggestions? I know you said you’re not particularly sentimental, and that’s ok!! But if there’s things the boys have made you that are sentimental or they’ve done a particular art project they’re very proud of, take a photo of it with your phone! You could make two separate albums, one for each, and at the end of each year print them each a book from CVS with all their special artwork and cards and things they’ve made to keep. They store very easily. And it’s so quick to take a pic and discard the drawing itself. And then the book you can make the title the son’s name and the school year it’s from. So you’ll always know. And if you’re going to donate clothing, please consider donating to retirement homes/hospitals. Like memory care places and such. Many patients have like 2-3 outfits with holes and stains and missing buttons. They don’t have family or anyone anymore to come and provide them with nice things to wear, and the nurses say it’s really hard to dress them over and over in rags. Very depressing for them. And most don’t have any money and no way to even go to a thrift store to purchase second hand clothing. So I’m going to start doing that with my clothes that are gently used but I just don’t wear anymore. Btw can I say you look AMAZING! No one is the sum total of their weight on a scale, so never think that I believe that. But I also know you’ve been working very hard to get healthier and it’s very noticeable!!!
