Mrs Tee thank you for showing this and being vulnerable. I know it wasn't easy. True story at a season in my life my whole apartment looked like your closet. My landlord gave me 15 days to clean up or get out. They had to come in due to a pipe leak and could barely navigate around. I was in a horrible relationship and once it ended I was happy to be rid of him but I was still crushed. I had to ask 2 members of the congregation to help me. It was that bad I couldn't do it by myself. We took out 18 industrial black trash bags of stuff. I vowed to never let myself become so consumed by all the stuff in life that I allow this to happen again. With prayer I haven't been in that situation again. I feel like clutter and chaos in your home is an outward reflection of what's happening inside. You are a gem for showing this. I thank you sister girl😘💕🙏🏾🙌🏾👠👜👚👗

See…this is what we need. Being honest and vulnerable. Zero judgment. LOTS of us struggle with depression and postpartum depression, sometimes it’s through being real with each other that we build a genuine connection 💙 I’m a therapist, and I am so proud of you for putting yourself out there and holding space for your friends/subscribers to accept and support ALL of you. I've been struggling really hard with depression/anxiety due to surgically induced menopause starting a few yrs ago and at 25 I've finally been able to get right hormonally/mentality and your videos have SAVED me and my house ma'am! My house was awful but I'm so proud that you have shared such a vulnerable part of your life to show that it's not just our struggle, it can be anyone. Hey Tee depression is so real, I’m glad you are feeling better, it takes a lot for a professional person to talk about depression and I’m so glad you did you don’t know how many are suffering in silence or to embarrassed to talk about it, I’m in education in administration and well tomorrow will be a year that my youngest son has been gone he died from Covid & I fell into depression & let things go in my home, in my mind I wanted to keep everything tidy but my body & depression wouldn’t let me, I recently came through due to prayer and counseling thank YOU JESUS. Tee what a Great job your closet looks amazing, love how you donate your items to churches (I’m also a ordained minister and who do we talk to besides GOD when we’re depressed bcuz people count on us to be there for them). Tee I was screaming when I saw the purses I was like yes boo give them to your momma what a blessing, you truly motivated me to get up & finally clean off the top of my dresser and for this I thank you from my heart and blessings upon you

Awww Tee,I just love you. We retired and sold our home and bought another during the Covid shut down. And so many changes were a bit over whelming. Things I would of normally got to I did not. Tee God Bless You for sharing your life with us. Some of us have been through this. I have gone through Chemo, radiation, a full Hysterectomy, laid off off my job after 40 plus years. Relocating from my home state of Ca to Ga. Then that darn Covid took the world over. Prayer and support and Love will pull us through. I am 68 years old and have had many struggles, but I Thank God for allowing me to wakeup with a smile and giving me strength each and everyday. Watching your Vlogs kept me going. I'm used to having my house in order, but I am so Blessed to have friends and family helping me. When I ditched the plastic hangers, and got all uniform Joy Mangano hangers, it was amazing how nice the closet looks! They were worth the money, as I still have them umpteen years later! Every time I go in my closet I try to find one item that I don't reach for, and donate it. My dil loves getting my "Overstock"! You are much more fashion forward than I will ever be! No closet judgement here! I wish I could have been there to help cheer you on!

Baby...thank youuuuuu for this here.... I got a whole BEDROOM that looks like this and I keep getting 80% done, then can never finish.... I needed this push.... No judgement whatsoever..we all got at least one messy spot in our house! I relocated and the same week became a ft caregiver to my grandmother with terminal cancer.....while working a 90 hour healthcare job... I fell into depression as well, and my house never recovered, it's been 3 years and it's nowhere near where I want it. You have truly motivated me. I was wondering what I was going to do while I was off for the summer because I work for a college. I think it is truly time to organize my closet and get rid of the things I can’t wear or I don’t reach for that often. Even things I can no longer fit. It's good that you talked about depression. It's better to talk about it instead of letting it stay within. At times I become overwhelmed from things and it is a hard place to pull away from. I get the stressor, but I pray everyday

Hey Tee! Chile you don't owe any of us an explanation about your closet. I totally understand the situation because I just did the same thing to my master closet. I too just closed on my home last June and my closet looked the same. I kept putting it off because after I would get off work, my mind was all up for cleaning it out but physically I was drained just by looking at the cluttered mess. 2 weeks ago, I finally drunk a red bull and went at it. Thanks, I started working on a room. After a week, I'm still working on it, but it's better. Your motivation works and sharing your struggle. My goodness Tee, I love you so much 💙💙🤗🤗 I don't know what I was expecting but I did not think you wardrobe (closet) was that bad. You are only one person. Please give yourself some grace. Even though I think you're super woman, you're not. I've been bedridden for over 3 weeks with major back issues, when I finally made it downstairs yesterday, it was so bad my plants were dying 🤦‍♀️ My daughter has been taking wonderful care of me, so I didn't say anything. You are awesome, never ever feel the need to justify anything. Besides these are the types of chores we all have but dread. Its very motivating 🤗🤗💙💙

Well said , Ty for your honesty and if you haven't experienced PTSD you wouldn't know how really bad this stuff is by itself. I was just diagnosed with PTSD a yr ago from the trauma of the sudden death of my husband. And I have found out together with ADHD, depression plus anxiety I've found it's hard to just get out of bed in the morning. So I'm with ya friend.... And you got an excellent job on the closet I am very proud of you ☺️

I've been right there. I dealt with depression after miscarriage then again after giving birth. So absolutely no judgment here. My closet was very similar. Tags on clothes, candles, multiple items etc. I ignored it for a loooong time, when I tackled it... it felt great! The carpet in the closet was probably in shock.😆 And...my husband's closet stayed clean. 😏 Good job! 👍🏾

I feel like I am in a similar situation! I had a baby in the middle of covid so the help that I would normally have from family I couldnt get because we had to stay isolated and safe so my house just got so messy and out of control. I feel like I am finally cleaning up the covid mess. I have been cleaning my pantry, closets and cabinets that I havent cleaned since pre covid and its so therapeutic. Thank you for sharing how it is with depression after post-partum, I personally don't know ppd but I know depression and my room where I am right now was just a disaster because it is how I feel inside and I don't care. But I cleaned it up because my current roommate is showing the room because I am moving to deal with healing from depression and anxiety from abuse. My roommate makes me feel guilty for being depressed and is a bad trigger for me but screw her I will leave to better myself and keep healing. People really dont even try to understand what others go through. Just judge and think of themselves. Im glad you are doing better. I send my love and kisses. Your videos are therapeutic and inspire me once I move to my first apartment soon. ❣❤❤❤😘😘😘😘
