Walmart is terrible. Went there the other day and they were so rude, and they said they would not take coupons, so I asked to remove my items and told them to have a great day. Then, after they said they were unable to take my valid printed coupons, all of a sudden they were like, "Okay, I guess these do work after all..." Bad customer service, not from cashiers but from managers. Walmart will not be getting any more of my money.
I would like to add a couple of things. Frist If a internet coupon does not scan, then we cannot accept the coupon. Yes overage is allowed when using a coupon, but if the coupon states a specific size, then you must buy the size stated to use the coupon. Also knew your store. For example at our store we do not give rainchecks, and the last that I heard the internent price matching was just going to be for the Holidays, but I will double check with my manager on that one.
the "specific size" should be followed at all stores if people are not following the coupons size restrictions they are using the coupon invalid , and you are correct in internet PM was for the holidays only it has been removed from the policy
I used a stack of printed internet coupons and the ones that their computer would not scan, were handed back to me. I, consequently, gave back the items I was purchasing using those coupons. I asked why would some scan and some not, the cashier was not sure. I examined the coupons thoroughly and could find nothing "wrong" with them. I was able to use the same coupons at my local grocer, however. Buyer beware.
When I have a coupon that does not scan, I have known the cashier to visually dissect the coupon and then ask for a manager, I refuse to not have them scan and enter my coupon. I will not be inconvenienced and have to go to another store. Also, the cashier at Walmart can only override a certain dollar amount of coupons and then a manager has to come.
Ugg, they can make life so much more complicated than it needs to be, hey? It's a coupon, I have a stack of them, why is this one so different - that's what I'm thinking.
Iheart2cook most of the time it is as simple as you were running out of printer ink and the scan bar on the coupon is to light to scan. Another reason is sometime the vender who enters the coupon into the system. Will enter the exact item on the coupon, and not let you stray from it even if it is the same brand.
I want to HUG you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys make being a single Fibromyalgia mom so much easier! And you make us laugh..... even my kids like watching ya'll!
i hate walmart. customer service is the worst. enough reason for me to stay clear. maybe if walmart would pay them more n not give them crazy schedules they wouldn't be so damn rude .
Trishana rowz No, they are rude regardless. The same holds true in Sears. My elderly Mom has been treated VERY badly over stupid things like trying to return an item. She has her receipt & is within her right & she's been intimated & argued with, told to just keep it & she'll find a use for it. It's disgusting.
My experience with Walmart customer service is different. It's actually more common for me to have a pleasurable experience with them. I agree sometimes there's a definite attitude of 'ug I don't get paid enough for this' but that's because, well, they don't. But this could also be because I've gone to the Walmarts I've lived near regularly and knew employees enough by face to go 'Oh hi! 8D'? Because I could go to a random walmart in my travels and feel a bit awkward.
Angela Weston well thats a good reason for her to stare clear of sear. i hate stores with nasty morals. i worked at sear when i was in college for a total of 3 days. i probably would be rude too if i stayed there. i was over worked and under paid not to mmention i was not trained i was just told where to go n tht was it. first day i decided i wasnt doing anything .second day i tried my best third day i went and i was assigned the changing room .everything was thrown on the floor and the benches needless to say i picked up my bag and went home .didn't even say bye to my manager. wait, i didnt know who that was
I always love your Vlogs. The scooters are not toys to play with. I have needed one a few times after just having surgery. I couldn't get one because someone was playing on them.
Walmart just sucks all around. The employees are the rudest people you will ever meet, everybody has an attitude, and it is just not a fun shopping experience.
Kim Henninger I work at Walmart and am definitely not rude....I have customers who are rude but I always kill them with kindness. So many people treat Walmart employees like they are beneath them somehow.
Nichole Bird i totally know what you mean! we always have at least a handful of rude customers every night or obnoxious teenagers coming in causing trouble. oh and people who love to complain about things that hourly associates have no control over...most people dont understand that the corporate office makes most of the rules..which is also why it makes me laugh when rude customers say they're going to call corporate and complain....ummm good luck lol
I used to work for Walmart and here's a little tip for ANYTHING on rollback throughout the year the original price tag MUST be behind the rollback tag so when you are getting something on rollback that you don't need look behind the rollback tag and compare the rollback price to the original price most times when something is on rollback they are trying to clear an abundance of that item out of the warehouse and will jack the price up only to have it higher in the (was) price category and the price you end up paying is still the price you would pay if it was not on rollback they especially do this for normal stock on black friday through Christmas
Buy your stuff with a credit card with price match. If the price of something that you buy drops, the credit card issuer will refund you the difference. And a lot of them have an automatic lookup, like Citi's price rewind. This also means that you can buy your item anywhere and avoid Walmart.
omg! thank you ladies! I never knew Walmart would take other retailers coupons like a dollar general coupon! or the rain checks that contact u when the item you want is back! great info.. Also Walmart recently rejected a newspaper loreal coupon expiring on that day, self-checkout would not take it. So Loreal is going to send me a FREE MASCARA COUPON!
I priced a hardware item at WalMart.Com and it had no charge "pick up at store" ,, price was $10.97 ,,, At the local store the item was marked at $15.97 ,, it took me 30 minutes to get the price ,, two managers lied to me saying they couldn't check walmart.com pricing "no internet access" ... until someone else needed a price check ... then suddenly they had access... and yes I had the print out with me and the interior of the store is a cellular dead zone so I couldn't pull it up on my phone.
hi. thank you for all the helpful information. but I can't find the slice app....can you please post a pic of what the app looks like here...thank you so much
Hi do walmart accept multiple manufacturer coupons? Like newsletter form coupon and a internet coupon? Btw, awesome videos. Lots of information. Thank you
Take it from an ex-cashier at Walmart (Had to quit, because my medical conditions were making it hard for me to continue working) Yes, you don't have to bring in your ad for ad matching, but it will help out you and the cashier, because it may take a while for them to verify it. Some Walmarts now have to verify the ad match, because of certain adds. But I also use an employee discount (my husband still works for Walmart) when I go shopping at Walmart. And I try to go to Walmart last, unless I can price match what I need.
I work at Wal-Mart and most of what she is saying is true but some is not, we do not offer rainchecks nor can we enter in a coupon manually anymore! We do have in store coupons but they are taped on items, If you do price match and there is a big difference they will ask to see where it is at! And the best time to shop is early in the morning and late at night as well real late I say 11pm to 11am because there is less people freshly stocked items and managers around to make sure everything is going on okay!! More managers in the day time though!
My husband refuses to use coupons. He doesn't understand them, nor does he want to. Further, I have so little extra time in my life right now, that I *was* listening to this in the background! (I can't wait for summer!) BUT I wanted to appeal to those who have similar loved ones, tell them to simply go to Walmart and ALWAYS bring you the receipt to scan in the Savings Catcher part of the app. It's a big help. (Oh my gosh, you should have seen him recently. He was just about to buy strawberries for $3. THEY had a sign showing that a competitor had them 2 for $4. I made him get out of the self checkout and go to a line while I grabbed extra strawberries. He was so confused, we were still talking about it when we got to the car! LOL!)
Also, and this is actually less of a problem at Wal-Mart than other stores, because they have JIT shipping, but try not to clear out the entire stock of an item. Even though they get compensated by manufacturers it affects a store's ability to serve customers and thus loses them quite a bit of money. It's something you might wanna think of from of personal standpoint too. How much money do you save when you buy 50 bottles of Febreeze and end up spending 15 bucks? Sure you'll go through it, but would you use as much if you only bought a couple of bottles?
I appreciated the note on cashiers as a former cashier! I was at a drugstore and not a huge grocery store, but our weekly ads attracted a lot of extreme couponing wannabes who didn't know the first thing about coupons or how they worked. Just remember that nine times out of ten the cashier is dealing with a hot headed crazy lady who saw 2 episodes of extreme couponing and went nuts. Don't be that lady. Be kind to your cashier. Because if your cashier was like me, and worked in a retail pharmacy, they have the threat of being fired over accepting a bad coupon, no matter how small the amount is. So your cashier may just be afraid of losing their job. Blame the company, not the employee trying to pay for college!
For number two, it's not just at Walmart, but at ANY store that accepts coupons. Know what you're getting into and understand that sometimes, there may be something in the fine print that prevents coupons from working. That's usually the number one thing that I've noticed happen when coupons don't work. Another thing is sometimes, it's the brand's corporations are the ones who are saying no, and not the store. I work at Kohl's and I hate it when I hear a brand comes and tells the stores to exclude them from the sales. Also, don't think the associates are just being mean, they want to help you save too within the guidelines that allow them to. I know I hate it when something comes up that prevents me from helping my customers whether it be the fine print on coupons or the fact that the coupons expired/haven't started yet.
First 15 days of the month is when food stamps hit. all different days depending on ssn but always the first 15 days so it spreads out through the month but if you’re still worried then go toward the end of the month. (That’s in Wisconsin I don’t know about other states)
I know that people keep saying that Walmart has x, y, or z policy, and that they abide by them everywhere. That might be the official stance and they're required to claim that, but in reality it is much much different and is very dependent on the Walmart you're in at the time. Couponing at my small town Walmart is an exercise in futility. They no longer accept printed, internet coupons and will tell you that to your face at the checkout. However, their official stance is that they do take them. The confusion is that my small Walmart still has old scanners that rarely, if ever, scan internet coupons. While the Walmart 65 miles from me takes them no problem because they can scan them with no hassles. My rule of thumb is that if I coupon at Walmart at all, I take Sunday coupons only, no internet coupons at Walmart. My Walmart also makes a big scene on price matching. So, I don't bother.
I hate how Walmart doesn't let me know the coupon didn't go through but then keeps my coupon!!! I the notice it walking out of the store at the bottom of receipt! Kroger always tells me when a coupon won't scan or take.
+passion777 I have had this happen to me several times in the past 2-3 months. A valid coupon fails to show up on the receipt, the cashier keeps the coupon AND tears off the tiny slip of paper that states the coupons weren't honored and to return them to the customer AND THROWS IT AWAY! I plan on bagging everything I've bought up and returning it to Customer Service & informing them what happened. Whether I'm just unlucky & get lazy cashiers, or if this is actually WalMart deceiving customers by not honoring coupons when they're themselves redeeming the coupons & pocketing that $, I'M TICKED OFF! If this is a huge problem everywhere, it needs to be pursued. WM could be receiving Millions off customers.
Oh my goodness, you guys are hilarious! I have been watching your videos the last few hours bc I want to become a "crazy coupon lady". My husband was laid off and money is tight. We have a family of 6 and we spend so much at Walmart every month. I have been using the Savings Catcher at Walmart with the Bluebird card that doubles the amount caught up until Feb 28th. I also saw the other day walmart had printable coupons. My question is, if I use a coupon for an item, will Walmart still try and catch a lower price for me? Thanks so much for your videos, I am not done watching yet! :)
This is the very first time I've seen the Wal-Mart rain check slip...I've worked there as a cashier for over 8 years. When we got a remodel and our new customer service signs mentioned rain checks (this was a few years ago), I again brought up rain check availability to management. I was told that we absolutely do not nor have we ever had rain checks at Wal-Mart. It would be nice if corporate would actually distribute these if they expect stores to know of their existence.
Some states may have recently changed the date they generate food stamp benefits from being on the first day of the month to being on a date specific to your case, which could be any date during the month. That means you don't see all of the food stamp beneficiaries at the store on the first few days of the month. That makes the stores less busy during the first few days.
I am beginning to really hate the WM that is closest to my home (13 miles ). They will ONLY take the competitors of Winn Dixie (2 blocks from there ) and Publix ( 30 miles ). No Rite Aid ( across the street ) No CVS ( 2 miles from WM ) nor Walgreens, Freds, Dollar General.. nothing . Target is 60 miles from my house, but between what they will accept as competitors including Amazon, it's looking like it might be less expensive to drive that. It would cut me down to only getting the sales twice a month and doing some strategic planning, but it still looks more than worth the drive.
princessoffire1107 I LOVE Target - they're always so nice and helpful. I was there a few weeks ago to do a TP deal and they were out (only had a couple of packs). They let me substitute the larger package and still get the gc that was being offered on the smaller packages (even though the larger was a better price overall) AND I still got to use all of my coupons and Cartwheel. Walmart would NEVER do that. Plus Target will price match any local store you just have to take the ad and go to Customer Service (including Publix BOGO - and they'll do it at the lowest price whether that's Target or Publix). I avoid Walmart like the plague unless there's something only they carry (or it's the middle of the night and I gotta have whatever it is right then) - otherwise it's Publix and Target.
EBT is not distributed only on the first anymore. It is distributed evenly through out the month. During the first few days of the month you will see more people that receive disability checks , disabled vets, people who receive Social Security and people who work and only get paid once or twice a month.
i asked an employee if they price matched and i was told no they dont ever price match. when i was leaving the store. they had a big cork board that said we price match!
This is only a paid by Walmart advertisement. Krazy Coupon lady sold out. Any real person knows WM doesn't keep to their policy and it changes by the mood of the cashier.
My Walmart never gives me any trouble. I have a cashier give me trouble but when I asked to speak with the manager the manager knows exactly what the cashier did wrong. Just because half their cashiers are retarded doesn't mean Walmart is. They are an equal opportunity employer after all. can't expect their employees to all be on top of the game.
Walmart policy actually does change from store to store. It shouldn't, but it does. A lot of decisions are based off of what the store manager at that one place chooses to do
There are policy's that change but usually to counter retail theft that most popular for that area, most the time when people find out about policy changes it has to do with making unreasonable returns lol
I work in retail and at my store we are not allowed to double up on coupons. Also our price matching is limited. Our store coupons even state on it not redeemable with another store coupon. No one really reads the fine print though. In my area those with money are usually the cheap people and will argue about everything. Even not have our coupon present and expect us to enter it in. Really? Please realize we are trying to keep our jobs and we don't make our policy. Don't make that person hate their job even more. Take it up with corporate.
One Walmart in my area the manager gives me a hard time I called corp and he just brushed it off and probably knows how to play the game .. so I go to the Walmart across town where the manager works smarter I figure let his sales go up for his store because at the end of the day the company will look at each stores sales. It's not corp doing it.. it was the manager I say just like going to another store find another manager in the same chain who works nicely and WANTS my business :)
Most of what they say is true. I have been a cashier for nearly 9 years and policies have changed since "extreme couponing" aired. At our store we do not "piggyback" coupons and if it's a home printed coupon that won't scan, we won't take it. We do offer "overage" on products but it is very specific. Like every thing else, you can thank a few shady people abusing the policy to require the change.
what do you or would you tell people that have problems with using coupons at Wal-Mart stores cause there is a video here on RU-vid a girl or young Women tried to use I think 2 coupons and they would not let her use the Coupons apparently they thought the coupons were copies just because they were printed off Black and White instead of in color
I found that if you want to get something at Walmart, it's best to just use a few coupons at a time...the cashiers seem to get the most irritated when they see a stack. Also, some people are having a lot of luck with the self check outs when couponing! The only thing there is that if a coupon does not scan...I'd just 'move along'...
Bluebird card - It's an American Express pre-load debit card. If you want to do the double back on your SavingsCatcher there's a link on the Savingscatcher website to transfer you to the bluebird site. Right now they're doing accounts with zero fee to open and no monthly fee. Be aware though, any Savingscatcher $$ you transfer to bluebird will only work at Wal-Mart as they're held in a separate part of the account from real money you load onto the card.
Order the Bluebird card from Bluebird.com. It is completely free in every way and can only be loaded at Wal-Mart. (If you buy the card from Wal-Mart then it costs $5, that's why you have to order it from the website instead.)
I love my bluebird card I have had it less than a year and I have already gotten back nearly $200 using the savings catcher transfer. It's so quick & easy. Needed just a few items one morning and didn't have any cash so I transferred my savings catcher onto my bluebird from the parking lot and was able to cash out minutes later.
Nice video and if that's how you are treated at walmart I want to come shop at that one. There are 5 that I go to and none of them are fun to visit. It has changed from a few years ago where the cashiers were rude it is their management now and they are down right nasty. I have only had 1 manager that is nice to me. I have called walmart to complain and nothing happens, I print a new copy of their coupon policy before I leave my house so it has the time stamp for that day so they can see it hasn't changed. The "one coupon per purchase" yes I understand and explain it to them when they question it but then they either don't care, refuse to take them and look at you like a thief or they get mad because they didn't understand it until I explained it and still refuse the coupon to get back at me. Rainchecks they have never heard of... The list keeps going. So then what do you do besides go shop somewhere else??? This is really a multiple time per week experience for me so I would love your advice.
I love how they look out for the cashiers and try to make it easier on everyone. When I was a cashier I dreaded couponers because they were so mean. The sweet ones, I would always make sure I was extra nice so they know I'm not judging them. Feed your family girl.
The reason I don't shop at walmart is because my local store loves to reorganize, every few months they rearrange the entire store so you can't just run in a get 1 thing you have to wander around trying to find where it is. If I can't find an item quickly I usually just leave with nothing and go somewhere else.
At the end of the video you suggest the Slice app to monitor price drops. How does this work for purchases not made online? It seems as if the app is only for online purchases.
Thank you so much for the tips, I am new to this and this answers alot of questions. Any thoughts on Walmart doing away with price matching? I got this direct from the horses mouth, but fortunately my area still does price matching. Hopefully it won't phase out anytime soon.
Mine is the same way, all we have is walmart everything else is the next town over like 12 miles.. But if they didn't price match most would drive the 12 miles for the savings.. I travel to the next town once a week anyway, wouldn't be a problem to do my grocery shopping out of town..
Not at my store. They refushed my joanns ad for a pattern that they sell and i could get at the store less then 20 feet away....they won't take other coupons from other stores either....And the food stamp comment is off now too....Our state does all month long now.
My store in Rockford IL i formed me Dec 28 that they no longer will price match without the Ad that they changed the policy! I asked to speak with store Manager who also confirmed that unless they have the Ad in the store or We have one wirh us they will not price match! My store hardly ever has the ads.
Just FYI - Walmart DOES do produce on their Savings Catcher .... just about every trip to Walmart includes the purchase of apples and bananas, and almost always we get money back for at least the apples. Ok ... now to finish watching ... =)
Gotta do a remake of this. I live in Florida and I'm not sure about other states but I don't get my stamps until the 14th which normally in the middle of the month. Also I think they went through a change so it's a good idea to remake this.
My Walmart is messy in Casselberry Florida, they had a man living in there for over a month and nobody knew. They also had a ring of thieves stealing highend electronics out through the garden center...Ha, No one caught on for over six months. But I call BS on all of the suggestions my Walmart is absolutely a nightmare to shop at. It should not be so hard to take advantage and shop at the store with their own promotions.I hate Walmart, love your vid.
If those of you hate Walmart, why are you even watching this video? I love my local Walmart’s. I’ve not had problem one with my coupons. Thanks for the funny video ladies.
My Walmart does not allow overage. Having to babysit the cashiers with my coupons and the price matching on items is too fiddly. A lot of work for not much savings. Rather just shop at the store that actually has the better price.
My local Walmart won't accept any printed at home coupons, per the store managers decision. I rarely use coupons at Walmart anymore. Drugstores and dollar stores are so much easier to coupon at.
My local Walmart in Albert Lea, MN won't take printed coupons from P&G or coupons.com. I just printed a few up this last weekend and went shopping there. The Customer Service lady told me that my coupons were fraudulent and they were expired, even went I just told her & the cashier I just printed them from the P&G web site. She still refused to take them. So I told her I din't want the items and I would shop somewhere else. I sent an email to the corporate office. I got a call today from the manager from the store today. She ask me what happened, she apologized & said she was going to train all her employee's about their coupon policy. She also said if I still had the coupons to please come back and use them.
Hey Sheila, that sounds frustrating but you handled it really well!! I'm glad to hear the manager got in touch and that the staff will be trained. Coupons are a form of payment just like any others but when staff don't have proper training, they don't always know how to recognize the difference between legitimate and illegitimate coupons. Thanks for sharing your story and hope your next shopping trip goes better (if you decide to go back)! ❤️
Tip about when to get there because of food stamps isn't exactly true. Food stamp distribution vary state to state. Some distribute everyone's on a specific day, while others distribute individuals on specific days based on various different things (letting of first or last name, last digit of social security number, etc.)
I appreciate this video but I just dealt with some serious insanity. I am like you all, have younger children, 1 & 2. Therefore, I find it easiest to shop once their daddy is home & I can go on my own. Just a few nights ago, I went to redeem a few free item coupons I was sent. After the cashier wrote the items price on the coupon, she told me I couldn't use it & it was void. It never fails that I end up being told "Limit one coupon per purchase" means per transaction. I get so incredibly frustrated. I've recently banned myself from shopping at Walmart. I feel bullied anytime I go there to shop, with coupons especially. I hope other people have better luck.
Omg yes the first week and a half is so busy with EBT customers at the grocery store where I work. (Kroger) and the first few months of the year is busy as well since people get their taxes too. It is the reason I still have a job though otherwise they wouldn't really buy that much food.
I work at Wal-Mart and I am a cashier. I was told that we don't do "Rain checks". There's a lot of things we're told not to do. It's frustrating because I'm never told the reason why and customers ask me why and I don't have an answer to give them.
the one closest to us looks like animals ran thru the store, another one that isn't too far away always looks neat. i think it depends if the employees are working together together or fighting against each other. and it depends what kind of people shop at different locations. it ruins shopping at walmart when they don't have the stuff on the shelves when i go shopping.
My local Wal-Mart will also fight you on the one coupon per purchase. They claim it has to be rung up in different transactions. I had to call the customer service number.
Gr8 Vid! I learned so much about how to save even more at Walmart than just w/their low prices! I need to download those apps & start using them ASAP :)
This is from 2014. My local WalMart no longer price matches at all, they no longer accept competitor's coupons at all, and they have heavily limited taking printed out coupons as opposed to clipped coupons.
I have been couponing at Walgreens for a couple of days and they really screwed it up! Real small orders, too. I only couponed at Walmart a couple of times and I felt uncomfortable. The coupons were scrutinized a lot, like I was trying to pull something. I know they have to do it to a degree, but it is kind of degrading. It seems that some stores have a really complicated system, cards, points, reward cash, coupons, but the cashiers, and even some managers don't know it. I had a new cashier today at Walgreens and when my points did not go onto my card and receipt, and I asked her why, she just gave me a blank stare and said, "I don't know." She simply did not care in the least.
A Walmart store should have a copy of the ads from their competitors. They are just not at every register. Some cashiers will bring their own ads in from home. But bringing in your ad can definitely help speed things along.
Although you may think that don't be surprised if you aren't able to get the advertised price without bringing the ad with you. It all depends on the store's policy
+Heather H. Walmart has a system where they can look up the ads. The people might not know how to utilize it at the store you go to though (I guess it is new?) I usually just screen shot the ad or show it online since my Walmart has free wifi, I don't have to worry about data usage.
Walmart does not have a system to look up ads. I did not post to argue, only to save anyone planning on price matching time. If you don't bring your ad with you you are making it very likely you'll either hold up the line while employees search for an add or even be denied your price match. Long post short, bring your ad or be prepared to be frustrated.
They stopped taking printed coupons recently, plus their website and in store prices are different, but regardless of the price differences, you can't price match. I hate Walmart. Had to wait 20 minutes to get someone in the online pick up line. They kept telling other employees to do it. Also, why have 20 registers when only 4 people are working? I rather spend a few extra at Target and Publix. Funny thing is sometimes those stores are cheaper.
can i price match the price from MIX and MATCH at other store??? like if you buy 5 orange marked product you save $5 and AD says the final price. or we only can do that for the original price?
If and when I use coupons at Walmart there are only certain cashiers that I will go to. I know what days they usually work and one of them I know personally because she is my friends mother and the other because she is the sweetest older lady and she coupons herself. I know what days they both work so I try to only go on those days.
Another FYI ... here in North Carolina (and it obviously varies from state to state), food stamps are distributed based on the last digit of your SS#. Mine ends in 0 and so I received my food stamps on my EBT card on the 21st of each month. Double check with your state (you can find the info fairly easily online) as to when food stamps are distributed for your state so you know when your stores will more than likely be more crowded. You can also bring up the question to your cashier while checking out as they will obviously know the answer.
The only thing I can think of, Soufyan, is that the gov't doesn't want to deal with people complaining about what is and is not in those boxes. *shrugs* I really don't have an answer for you. Sorry
+Soufyan Tarifit because they want them to use it on food and not booze or other crap. If they were given $1800 in a box of food that $1800 would go towards booze and lottery tickets and crap.
+FarmGirl Goo That is a general Right-Wing statement to further separate people and cause us to fight over petty stuff. Some people will use it for things they should not. Just like some people sell food stamps for drugs or money to get booze. However, most people who receive Food Stamps use the money to feed their families. Just like drug testing Welfare recipients was a failure, it found that all of 2-3% of the people receiving assistance were actually drug users.
+Druid of Satan Wow. I barely make more than that as a public school teacher. What country do you live in? (*Takes out notepad and begins planning a move)
My Walmart is just not a good place to coupon. They say no to everything. Even if you're armed with all the knowledge on the policy, it is THEIR way, not my way. Refrain from couponing there, just head to target. Even the best couponers I know don't even coupon there.
Mine is the same way. Even with policy in hand and knowledge of terms I was told by a cashier and manager that "limit one per purchase" meant only one for the whole transaction. I was so aggravated I filed a complaint with Walmart about the situation and gh ow untrained the workers seem to be, at least at my walmart.
Yeah I know they have the thing after four of the same coupon but I only had 2 of the same. The checker was trying to say that the limit one per purchase meant limit one of that coupon per the whole transaction, which I know is not correct.
***** yeah I'm aware that it does prompt the management once limit has been reached and that's when the crazy managers come in and drill you the policy and what the q says. I've had so many bad experience with a bunch of excuses that don't make sense so walmart lost a lot couponer shoppers. Not that it matters.
