My youngest Granddaughter is also 10...when we visited at Christmas an I saw her room I said "omg" what a mess. There was makeup everywhere. Art and craft stuff, clothes and stuffed toys!!! So no different than your girls. It must be a 10yr old thing..lol. So just like you did as a Mom, I did as a Grammy. I went and bought organizing items and we went to work. Took the better part of the day, vut we got it done...and I HOPE I taught her how to have a place for everything. So hang in there Mom, ignore the negative comments from some and carry on. You are rocking ut as a Mom!!! ❤

Love you and your family! One idea is a daily inspection of their room. Once it piles up, its overwhelming and possibly filled with bacteria. Once a day will build a habit of keeping it cleaned. One day these beautiful girls will be young ladies and the skills learned now will be a positive benefit in their lives in more ways than one.

Maybe you could put both nightstand together. Then the beds would be farther apart. And the drawers could be open. And the middle won't be a catchall place. 😊

Normal kid rooms! My kids tell me they don’t feel as overwhelmed when I’m in the room. So sometimes I just sit and chat with them while they clean up. I have clinical OCD and my space is tidy but I let my kids live in their rooms because it’s their space. I don’t want them to be like me with obsessions and compulsions around cleaning. It’s a fine balance.

I love to see you clean and that's saying a lot because i don't like watching any of the other RU-vidrs i watch clean 😂 im not sure who's judging you for helping the twins with cleaning because how will they learn. I remember growing up my sister's room was always a disaster. She dressed like she stepped out of a magazine 🤣 but her bedroom was tore down 👇🏾🥴 She is the cleanest person everrrrr as an adult; you wouldn't believe it. You definitely did that.

Shyvonne, We use to play the I’m tired game with my Mom when she was “ helping” us clean our room and she would say “ You weren’t tired when you made the mess” needless to say we helped through the whole clean up or we had to lay in bed the rest of the day because we were too “ tired” . It’s what you let a child get away with. If you don’t mind cleaning it then it’s okay. I had to come to the conclusion that if you going throw stuff under the bed you don’t need it. I start extending the period of the punishment and buying things. It worked. Because my kids like yours love to buy things and stuff that don’t really need. My husband told me I was the problem so deal with it. So that’s how I dealt with it. 😂

My kids are grown and have families of their own, I raised two boys their bedroom was always a disaster, I would deep clean it on my day off while they were at school, their version of cleaning was nothing like mine, unfortunately they never got any better with cleaning even in college I would clean their room when I visit them, sorry it might not change until they have their own home 😢

A detangler brush works wonders. Try using it after washing and conditioning their hair

Also, there are detangler conditioners that do not have to be rinsed out. You apply it to the hair when you’re using the detangle brush. Start brushing or combing from the end of a hair section and gradually work up to the scalp.

Some people still think it's stage, to keep the RU-vid channel. There's stuff that is not staged, the children are messy and don't like to clean. I have a two grown adults who don't like to cleanse. Several times I cleaned my daughter"s apartment and she became upset, because she weren't able find anything, so I don't clean her apartment anymore. My son is a slob , he doesn't like cleaning. Hello Shyvoone, and family. The twin's are growing. I did notice, Kaidennce, look's a little taller,and slimmer than Kinsley. I have identical twin niece's, and one is more outgoing than the other one. I also have twin nephew's as well. In my family, we have several twin's. Good job cleaning. ❤❤

Our daughter is 12 and the same way. She hates getting her hair done, always said. She’s also autistic. She is 5’1, hair down the middle of her back, and I have to do her hair, and I’m no hair person at all. We do it once a month and she hates braids, only ponytails and plaits. One thing is we live in a predatory white community, so we never really hear any comments on her hair when it’s not done. They are always amazed at the length of her hair, because we’re black. 100% and that’s still a shock to some people. But I do what makes her comfortable and not what people think.

My 15 yr old girl still can't keep her room clean no matter how many times I've shown her and hassled her about it, not making excuses for her but it just seems like it's not a priority but she's a good teenager, kind hearted and funny, that's more important. So I just make sure she deep cleans it at least every month lol your twins are doing their best ❤
