Hi! I’m an Army soldier! Being a female in the army is difficult at times. We have to adhere to the rules and put our feminism on the back burner due to our jobs. On work days I’m an average joe turning wrench’s on helicopters and flying around, but on my days off makeup is my escape. I get to dive in and get creative. I’ve always had a fascination with makeup, probably stemming from my mother who never left the house without it. Although I feel beautiful when I don’t have makeup on I still love feeling like a normal woman. I would love to win because i could get creative again. Hey gorgeous!❤️ I love you so much Laura, and this is why: the past few months I lost a very close one to loved one and then a few weeks after my innocent younger 10 year old bro got Leukaemia (blood cancer) which has been a huge strain on my mental health, my goal to be a doctor, my baby sister and the rest of my family. I was someone who loved to play around make up, even though I barely can afford something, however since my brothers diagnosis I went into a dark space and gave up on makeup. But recently I have been watching your videos and going back to doing makeup and it has helped me so much to feel better. And you keep helping. My birthday is less then a week a way and I am celebrating it in this quarantine day with my brother probably in the hospital. So pretty depressing. I like the way your drawers are. You can see some up front and then you have some on the back of the same drawer. You do not have to be sitting down all the time. You can sit, stand or whatever you want. Clever idea!!!!❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
I’m a geriatric nurse and I do makeover days for my patients to make them feel special because most of them don’t get visitors on a normal basis and they can’t get any now. I’ve been praying I’d win a giveaway for years because I’m a mom so I can’t afford to do them very often. Loving her idea about keeping busy. I’ve been reorganizing things that are already organized just for the sake of mental health (anxiety). It’s honestly a battle but I’ve found that just practicing makeup looks or just having fun with it helps, with feeling good. And we don’t need any special occasion to wear makeup. But with these pandemic I find that I am going threw makeup faster then usual. 😂😂.
