OH yes that's awesome difference between the darker furnitures and the lighter set it opens up the area the pillows colors blended in everything looks so unique it's amazing the way you selected each pieces of furniture to design a wonderful decor.

Awwww Anita! I loveeeee your living room. I was so surprised when you pointed out how dark you felt the room was in the before video. I couldn’t completely see what you meant until you revealed the after video.The coziness, the laid back sophistication coupled with the earthiness that the pillow’s brown tones add just make you want to snuggle up on the sofa with a cup of tea and that Black Hollywood coffee table book. Aw, thank you so much Denise and this was they type of space I have been wanting for a while. The old sofas were nice but they were not very comfortable. I wanted a room where I could lay on the couch with a cup of tea like you said and read or look at a good book. Or, even fall asleep while binge watching a good show. We just couldn't do that in the other space, so it needed and was long overdue for a change. TFW!

First of all, I didn't know anything about the drapes. You just put me on and I went right over to Amazon. The transformation looks beautifully drastic although you made simple small changes. Love it. Also, your furniture is in great condition. Can't believe you had many of the pieces for years!

It’s a nice refresh. You guys both did a wonderful job. It’s so much brighter and fresher. This was probably meant to be a quick change around nothing strenuous but if you look to do something in this room again here’s a couple suggestions. That railing detail is actually a really simple fix to remove it. It would open up the room so much and help to further update the gorgeous refresh you guys did. The only thing that would take little time and patience is replacing the small bits of tile under the ledge. That’s if you can match the current tile. Also the rug is too small for the room and couch. Check out some rug guides so you can find the appropriate size. Ok and one last thing and I’ll leave you alone 😂. Always buy pillow inserts that are one dimensional size bigger than the covers you purchase. If the covers are 20x20 buy pillows inserts that are 22x22 etc.

Thanks for your suggestions however, that’s the beauty of having/owning our own homes, we decorate them for ourselves and not for or the approval of others. We actually love the space and everything about it. Now if you want to send me some coins to make those changes, I’ll happily except…lol. TFW! 😊💕
