When I owned my v-rod, I can tell u it really draws spectators wherever it is parked. Non-Harley ppl would tell me that if they knew Harley made a bike like that they would have bought one. This happened everywhere I went. Or if it was parked in my driveway. I was passing a military convoy on the highway once and every driver/soldier who could see me was hanging a thumbs up and screaming “F*ck yeah!” But Harley did little to no advertising on it. Harley loyalists called it “Hardly” because it was water cooled. The bike was before it’s time. Now that Harley is embracing water cooled engines, it would be amazing if they brought this back.

The cool thing about the V-Rod was also that it was designed by Porsche and Harley Davidson. You can look it up online and actually read about the history under Porsche engineering division.

The last two bikes are the best by far! The turbo is bad ass except for that giant front wheel! And the very last one is just gorgeous, so tastefully done, the akra exhaust and the wheels..... Damn! Best looking Harley I have ever seen!

Sorry to be a party pooper , but in nearly all the countryies in Europe is going to ban any vehicle with open header and in My land denmark they even take the licens - plate Until you turn up with original exhaust - system - but what they will do with the New indian motorbike with the standard and legal valve that can give free exhaust and noise , dont know the price on an standard exhaust - system but as nobody drives with them you might think they are expensive ................ or what

There not a very comfortable bike to ride but they sure are a great customizable bike for sure .In my book harley davidson should start building them again .I own a 2018 street glide special and a 2000 fatboy always thought I would buy a vrod but never say never good looking bikes for sure.

I've owned several different bikes, my 09 VRod was easily the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden. I didn't have a 300mm tire and I had air ride suspension of it makes a difference
