The utensil drawer can be so overwhelming, as all of the items can look useful. When I did this, every time I used something, after it was washed and dried I put it in a separate pot/storage container. So at the end of a week, if it was still in the drawer, I didn't use it so it went to charity. It was kind of effortless and stuff decluttered itself!

That is such a great idea!! I’m going to use this next time I need to do a Declutter! I agree that the untensil drawer can be SO overwhelming!!

Keep the extra plates in the back of the cabinet. You are a young family, so you will have replacements that match if current plates chip/break.

Luckily my husband (who is not as gung-ho about Decluttering) wouldn’t let me donate them so we did keep them all! You’re definitely right!

I got rid of 97% of my stuff everywhere i only have things i use and everything has a home. I´m still getting rid of stuff everyday ahhh i love minimalism

It feels sooooo good to get rid of things that don’t serve a purpose!! I still have so many areas of my house to go through, I can’t wait to have it all done!!
