Thank you to Darren Bianchi and Central QLD Blokart Club for organizing the 2013 Australian BloKart Open, held at Yeppoon, QLD, and for allowing me to come and film the event. It was an awesome experience and one that I would love to try out myself sometime.
The song was originally composed by David Bruggemann. David is such a professional composer. Every time I work with him, he takes my videos to the next level, providing a greater experience for those who watch them.

I also created the sound design from scratch because it was so windy on the day that I just ended up with horrible audio. It ended up being so fun to create these sounds, using anything and everything I could find in my house and mashing the sounds together to create the best sounds to match the visuals.
This was shot on a Canon 5D Mark III, with a Canon 16-35mm F/2.8 L series lens. I also borrowed footage from a few GoPro's that were used throughout the races. They definitely gave me a larger option when it came to the shots I used in the final edit so I appreciate the guys letting me use the footage.
And the smooth shots were done using a Glidecam HD 4000. Check them out at the link below. There are a lot of steadycam brands out there but the reputation of the Glidecam far exceeds any other model I have found, and it's easy to see why people keep on using them.
