Hell, I use a 97 Tahoe with the doors off to skid my logs here in middle TN. Works pretty good and a bit cheaper I would think. Wonder how much weight it really could handle. That almost looked like fire wood to me.

We where just cleaning around a newly built dugout, wasn't trying to make money here. That machine has well over 500 bush hours on it now and we pull out around 10 logging truck loads every winter for about 150 cords of wood and a few thousand board feet of lumber.

I have to agree if you would be trying to do it full time. It's only a side business for us in the winter. That machine does 150 cords of wood and few thousand board feet of lumber every winter. It's a lot of labour and time to get that, so we eventually want to get a mini articulated wheeled skidder, same coming that builds the Ox-Trac.

Man, for what that machine probably costs, that's the best they could do for a seat?

Haha your telling me, we replaced the original seat with our own with no back, so more room for knees, painful but necessary, we did have tall guy running it. We did pit original back in tho cause it had springs on it, less painful. I can tell you now, great machine very excellent concept but man could they ever improve it that is for sure.

There was about 10 of these machines came in to the UK a few years ago, i looked in to buying one about 5 yr ago and found about half of the original 10 for sale and they all had very little hrs on them, so that tod me there was not the work for them, but things do change and now there is a fair bit of conservation work going on i would think you would not struggle to find work for one, only down side as i could see with then was the tracks looked a bit suspect to coming off other wise a neat little machine,

Hello during our winters this is what we mostly do, we have a firewood and lumber business and we split up to 100 or more cords a year, as well as hundreds of board meters of lumber as well. You can check some of our other videos of logging and splitting. I can't quit remember now but I think we've had this machine for 5 years now. And we put up to 100 hours a year on it, so we've got almost 500 on ours now and that's getting up their for a bush machine. I can definitely tell you the pros and cons if you want, as we have ran this thing long enough to know. About the tracks lol, that is definitely the worst con on the whole machine, we had them come off three times now and that was only accidental, we learnt the first time to be extremely careful turning on dry ground. And the bolts that hold the cleats down are not strong enough and after the first 100 hour they started bending and breaking causing the guiders to come off and loose them. We just kept using new bolts and making new guiders I guess that's what had to be done. And just recently we did a track over haul, cause it was getting bad, all new bolts with a higher grade.
