The Extreme Makeover: Home Edition took place in an Oahu neighborhood in the summer of 2007. It was a monumental undertaking creating not just a home but also a community center for a local nonprofit organization, Keiki O Ka 'Aina.

This show needs to be brought back. With all of the disasters that have happened around the country, this would be so uplifting and encourage to do something.

Couple years ago I worked at Keiki I Ka Aina as a temp. Momi and her staff were so welcoming and friendly. She really is that humbled person you just watched. The center is beautiful and the spiritual energy is so calming. Mahalo EM. For blessing Keiki O Ka Aina and Akana Family.

I agree so very much that this show need's to come back. Everything that happen's to families in these show's is still happening today. You want to make America great again, show America there is still hope. Not only that but imagine how much work, training, and home's a show like this could provide. Get contractor's that can teachnew contractor's, builder's, electrician's, plumber's, and everything else. You see where I'm going, SO LET'S DO IT already.

Actually, the show was canceled bc the home owners couldn't afford the higher taxes on their new homes and a significant drop in ratings when the show was moved from Sunday to Friday night. How did I know? I asked Mr. GOOGLE. Might want to try it sometime... 🤣

I wish Tye and extreme makeovers would return. Maui has had a sad destruction happen. All the rich are trying to buy the land from the natives of Hawaii for comerciial building but are not wanting to help the people. As it said in the beginning it's expensive to live, and now they cannot afford to rebuild. Please bring g back extreme makeover.💔🙏 I will continue to pray for all of those people that are going through that devastation and for this kind soul that may have lost her new beginning that all wanted to help others.

During this challenging period, we are providing fewer online education to families with small children, free food plants, safety, and sanitation supplies for families and meals for seniors. We have been blessed beyond measure in these past 13 years since the makeover and we look forward to another 25 years serving the families we love. @Hawaiian mommy I am so afraid to ask. People say such negative things regarding building a home where people move out and can not afford anything after. Then others who sell their homes. Did your family stay in your home or did it become too much? I am afraid for the answer.
