Another great job. I'm looking forward to the second dresser. You got a real bargain for two Drexel chests of drawers for $35. The American embassy in Berlin sold a lot of Drexel furniture when they moved to the Brandenburg Gate. Unfortunately I didn't get a great a price like you guys but the quality of my Drexel solid wood pieces is great and yes the price honestly was too.
I thought I would hate this, but it looks like an ‘80’s deco piece now. Looking back on the ‘80’s, the modern and deco styles were great. It’s just the fussy oak country style that gives the decade a bad name. Great job, love Cyndi’s earrings.
Although the jigsaw puzzle like repair of the leg gave me a few chuckles, I must applaud your resourcefulness and ingenuity. The whole piece is beautiful!
So beautiful!!! Have you guys ever thought about doing live streams while working on projects? It’s a great way to raise funds for your kit and allows you to interact with your subscribers. People buy and send superchats during the stream so one of you would have to monitor the chat and answer questions while the other works. Live streams can be a lot of fun.
Generally, we sand with 120 grit if we're going to paint, but the final factor is, does it feel smooth? If not, we'll go to 180 or 200. Thanks Shirley!
