Yeah really cool devices yesterday I downloaded a rom of assassins creed liberation for vita for use in the vita emulator but sadly it had serious graphical issues and wasn’t really playable but today I brought the official assassins creed liberation game cart so now I get to experience it the way it’s meant to be played 😃
i recently bought a refurbished PSP 1st gen, with 200 games installed in the memory card (128gb card), too bad it doesnt plays the UMD disc anymore but the seller was kind enough to asked me if i wanted some specific games to be installed (he gave me a list of like 1000 games) i just told him to suprised me with the most popular games that people played back then. paid around USD85 for it. the console came with original PSP box, charger and carry case. totally worth it.

I sold my modded PS Vita for $200, I loved it. But then I was able to buy a ROG Ally for $400, so basically I spent just $200 for the ROG Ally, best thing I ever did, blows away any handheld.
I really enjoy playing PSP games on the Vita, through Adrenaline. You can really smooth out the graphics and makes it look better than on the original PSP
The hardware isn't produced anymore. I figure they buy whatever systems are left on the market, refurbish them if possible and set them up with loads of homebrew and pirated software. Many sellers do the same with all kinds android based handhelds. Sony can't really complain, having abandoned the handheld market. But I have to say half the fun in owning a Vita is modding and customizing it yourself. It's an engaging process. And the community is still active, so its worthwhile to stay up2date on new ports and homebrew and know how to get them yourself.
I modded mine like this myself. Collection games on psp need to be booted with a different driver. If you open the game via the bubble on the home screen instead of retroflow you can enter a menu once the game starts by pressing the the home button. If you go to the fourth screen (tapping R) you change the driver to NP9660. It should then load up. Same with the crazy taxi collection on psp.
honestly speaking vita hex isnt really that necessary for those who is getting in the ps vita modding the fun part is customizing your themes you adrenaline app themes retorarch ect the ports from the homebrew store is always fun i 100% recommend getting a vita and modding its yourself its super easy now and the experience is amazing and stuff u can do its just chefs kiss. As a ps vita owner u wont be disappointed
Thank you so much for this: ive been looking for something like this for hours- you've just secured my summer holiday game console - thank you for including the website - much appreciated.
@@tarviscurry5507 a week after his video came out they said were out of oleds and I've been on the waiting list since 🤣 I offered to send mine to them to mod and they can't do it
I tried reaching out to ask them hows the screen if its like new and battery condition and if there is any scratches anywhere and the return policy i got no answer
@@koftaboy It's rebuilt, to me looked like new condition from the body to the screen. The buttons feel like new as well. I have no complaints. I got one because my friend got one his was in the same condition.
one thing i don't like about my modded vita was how long its takes to load games. Ive been better off using an android phone. puls you access to more settings
Could you do a more in depth look at the vita in this video? I was trying to use the mgba emulator but it won’t launch from retroflow. And my issue with retroarch is how the save files are made. It’s really a hassle and was hoping there’s a way to get the games to save properly through retroarch instead of having to close the app through using hotkeys.
Could you please tell me if you had to pay any extra import duty,as Sumo shop are based in USA..I want to order a slim version but i don't want to end up paying an extra £50.00 - £60.00 on top as these are expensive anyway.
I am looking for a high end handheld with OLED screen and pre installed games. I am not tech savvy and don’t want to deal with setting up things (that is what I liked about this VITA). Any recommendations?
@Wicked Gamer&Collector that the thumb stick for the og ps vita are harder to find and replace cuz there are barley any replacment parts for it unlike for the slim model of it.
Yo Wicked, you gotta add Streets of Rage Remake to your Vita. It crashes after 3 or 4 stages, but you can bail out and restart the game every 3 stages (they are quite long) before it crashes. It autosaves and you'll lose no progress using this method. I still play it on my Vita 😎👍
The perfect ps vita is the 3g model. You can remove the 3g module and replace it with an internal drive. You can end up having 3 storage locations. The internal storage through psvsd, the game card slot using an ps2sd, and an actual vita memory card. I have one. I have a few ps vitas and a huge collection of games. I'm going to be selling them asap sadly.
I couldn't figure out how to save my progress on the snes, genesis, nes,or,gameboy games.if you know how can you make a video please this is for the sumo shop version
With this being out of stock on the sumo store, can anybody recommend a good place to buy a PS Vita at this point? I never owned one when it first came out, and I've had the hacked PSP for as long as I can remember, alongside a Nintendo handheld and I was perfectly happy. But I would really like to get a PS Vita and experience the Vita library, earn some trophies, and of course loaded up with a bunch of emulators. But if anybody has any suggestions I would be grateful. I saw that for $200 Amazon had PS Vita slims, with good reviews saying many people got some that were almost like brand new. But like I said I'm just looking for something simple with good results and condition. Thanks in advance!
I used vitacheat for vita games, and psp had a cheat i forgot the name, to activate use button combination shortcut, just like edizon for switch cfw. Tutorial out there.
I still prefer my modded Steam Deck for retro emulation, but I do miss the Vita. It was an excellent hand held, and one of the more powerful. It had a decent collection of titles on it. It's a pity that it failed. Apparently, Sony are working on the PSP 2. It makes me wonder if they will make a PS Vita 2? The problem for Sony right now, is that the hand held market is beginning to get crowded, what with the Switch Lite, the Steam Deck, the Rog Ally etc. It's a question as to whether or not it will be worth Sony's time to make another hand held gaming system.
I have on mine 512gb ! And 5gb free ! There are so many things that are missing … By far the homebrews ! I think I built one of the best image Vita even copied it to vita2000 from The olde still works perfect
i have ps vita.. i paid someone to help me hack my vita.. but i dont like the games he put in it? i deleted the mod vita.. back to normal vita? how can i hack my vita? i dont have memory card any more? the guy mod it?
It warms the heart that the vita has such an underground group that keeps it relevant. Shame on sony for dumping it too soon. It truely was a device far ahead of its time and never applied to its fullest in sonys ecosystem.... even bigger shame is they have had plenty of time to revisit it and re-include it in to the ecosystem..... lolz Their loss!!!
No hate but see.. this is exactly why I like devices like the Miyoo Mini or the 35XX.. sure they have less power but they play games immediately, no long loading times, everything is super snappy in a nice fun sized form factor with nostalgic buttons too.. I own an oled vita too and the slow loading screens are making me just put it aside more and more hah! Shame..
@@koftaboy Their "advertising" was annoying to me and they didn't disclose everything that they should be when it came to selling their products. 💁🏽♀️ So I'll just check out Etsy. 😂😂😂😂💯
