This EXTREME NOISE TERROR/ DRILLER KILLER split EP is fucking awesome. I'm 52 now & was at school when my mate Dean lent me their first record, a split with Bristol hardcore punk legends CHAOS UK called "Radio Active/Earslaughter" on Manic Ears Records. I'd never heard anything as intense as the ENT side of that now legendary album. I'm 52 years old now & my favourite band of all time is ENT.
Its kinda funny, yet disturbing on almost every video theres a debate going on in what genre to put the song... people just cant leave sharing their genre-knowledge with the world and just enjoy listening hehe.

Phil's not the dyed blond singer, that's Dean. Phil is the one who had dreadlocks early years and short hair later years. R.I.P Phil Vane. I agree with you, he can't be replaced. They should split up E.N.T now.

I think religious thought has evolved, progressed and become more transparent with the growth of the Internet to give people more freedom psychologically. This is due to free thinkers like Jiddhu Khrishnamurti , Non-Dualists, Zen teachers such as Shinzen, and Eckhart Tolle. Yes the old stone age dysfunctional religious paradigms created at a time where there was no transparency still do exist, but a shift in consciousness is happening. Who is the authority on this - actuality is !
Crustcore. Faster, more extreme crusty, hardcore punk. But I get it - at this point it bleeds into what grindcore is all about. The lines are blurred between extremely fast crust punk and grindcore. Grindcore is usually more metallic.
haha, here is a death metalhead/grindcore freak which also likes this kind of music. maybe it's because I grew up with hardcore punk. and Yeah you never loose your roots, isn't it?

@AngryYoungAndPoor11 - hiya. Hope I can help - am pretty sure there is no ENT song called Doom. Just checked discography and appears so. May have heard the name Doom & ENT together - if didn't already know Doom are classic UK crust band & used to play together + plus share member. Keep them out. If new to ENT, find the shit before Phonophobia (1991) - went quite metal after that. One of the pioneer crust bands!!!!
@madderbass Phil Vane is the dyed blond singer i guess. If so, this is a big loss to the HC scene. He was a unique voice. I only remember ENT since first listening to them some 10 years ago only because of his voice (the split EP with Chaos UK). He will be missed and can not be replaced.
It does not need necessarily blastbeats. Grindcore derives from crust punk. These guys are closer to the crust punk side than to the death metal side of grindcore. I hope you understand what I mean :)
You're right. So let's call them crust punk. Grindcore bands like Unholy grave, Insect Warfare, Agathocles, Blockheads, all very close from crust punk, do the blastbeat. Blastbeat defines grindcore. 3rtd World: I dont' understand what you say.

Doh, i confused Dean with Phil... Anyway, ENT cannot be confused with any other band. They're unique. 2 mins ENT a day and you dont take your anger on your wife, kids or neighbors anymore
same here every skater i see is emo or prep dont really see hardcore punk or punks at the skate parks but hey it will make you stand out by being a different type of skater like me i always see skaters with their preepy hair and their high middle class dads picking them up but me nah am like between low middle and middle but i have nothing aganist modern skaters besides most think their bad now
Does this song (oh god please make it a song) have any lyrics or rythm? All what I hear is someone screaming like crazy while he is in the kitchen and he is hitting his mom's set of forks,spoons,knifes,frying pans,pots and plates..!!
