Please do that video about items you don’t need in a nursery!!!! I don’t have kids right now but want to in the next couple of years and something like that would be super helpful.

For storing headbands, I just use the curtain rods from ikea and curtain clips and just clip them on! It's super easy to see all of them and grab them quick when needed

I've used wall mounted hook rails for all 3 of my girls for displaying their headbands. I used to always save their headbands for when they older once they refused to wear them as well, but to be honest, once they got old enough and had more hair we just switched to alligator clip bows or regular headbands.

My sister hangs all of my nieces headbands on little hooks! It’s a sign that has hooks on the bottom. That way you can see everything and it’s easily accessible. I bet that could be a fun diy too.

Oh my gosh I thought I was the only one this insanely preplanned and organized before and during tackling of baby clothes!! We have 4 kids 5 and under and so much clothes handing down amongst them! I have to do this like every season change!

I have seen people use vases to organize bows. Just fill the center with something decorative and then put the bows around the outside. You always motivate me to go through and organize both my son and my daughters room. They grow so fast and I never realize that they have outgrown things. My son doesn’t outgrow stuff now as fast since he is 3, but my 10 almost 11 month old is constantly outgrowing stuff.

For headbands, get a jewelry sorter bag or one for shoes with clear pockets that you can hang on the back of her door. You see what you have and its easier. Also get a Hanging sweater organizer to hang in the closet. You can use it for shoes(sort by color) or use it for sweaters, jackets, anything

Don’t be embarrassed at all!! My kid’s rooms look exactly the same!! They outgrow things so quick! Plus I’m a foster momma, so I’m rotating clothes often! I’m ready to purge and just get rid of it all! They don’t even use their closet, it’s full of storage stuff lol.

Use a bracelet stand or 2 on the dresser or a shelf for the bows. My niece loves it because she can see them all.

I am doing my registry through baby list and they have an amazing list for what to put on your registry! It has really helped me sort through what I need (and things I wouldn't think of)

My niece just had a little girl and she is obsessed with headbands and had the same storage issue. Her brilliant hubby built a dowel rod (3” I think) on a base and painted them the nursery colors so she slides them on those. They look great on her dresser!

For the headbands find a large round jar and slide them over the outside of the jar to display them. Then you can use the interior of the jar for storing other items

Bracelet and bangle holders or T bar necklace stands might work for storing the headbands. Another idea is to use open ended hangers.

We love sleep sacks! If I could go back, I would have bought like 3 swaddle blankets and more sleep sacks! My son is about to turn 3 and he’s tall like your Ryleigh. The sleep sack now keeps him from climbing out of his crib, so I’m a big fan! 😂

Get a display jewelry holder to put on her dresser. If they don’t have a color you want you can always get spray paint!☺️🥰

We had a corner in the basement where the totes were stacked that had the clothes in them. (labeled on the outside with sizes and contents). It was nice not to have the outgrown and still too big clothes in their rooms. And every season we could go "shopping" in the right totes. Get rid of anything that you can't get smell or stain out of. Honestly, you will NEVER use it again. Buy new for next baby. Trust me. ♥️ (Mine are a sophomore in college and a junior in high school now. Time flies!)

I use shower curtain rings and I organized them and put them on command hooks in her room to store in display her bows!

If you want to pack the bibs and burp cloths I suggest soaking it in a bucket of Oxiclean and then washing them. It helped get out stains for us. We don't have a mobile but we have the rest of that collection. Love it so beautiful and elegant.

I have two large glass jars and I keep her big bows in one and small nylon bows in another. Usually have an idea of what I’m looking for and the clear jar allows me to have a better visual.

Wrap them around a clear vase. You can see them and it'll look really cute as a display.

I have to respectfully disagree about a music mobile being useless. My son loved his! He slept in the SNOO in our room until 6 months but during that time we still took him in his room and laid him down in his crib for relaxation time. He absolutely loved looking up at the mobile with the little animals moving around and lullabies playing. Once he moved into the crib, we switched the mobile onto the changing table station and attached it there. This then kept him occupied during diaper changes when he often wanted to move around, etc. So anyways, just wanted to point that out because it does get use for some families. (granted every baby is different) xo

I had a friend that color coordinated her bows and headbands with the clear shoe holder on the back of The door. All the red in one slot, orange in next etc.

My daughter is about to be one years old adjusted age, she was born a micro preemie, 1 pound 11 ounces. And she is in 18m clothes right now. Walking already and 5 teeth. It's crazy how many clothes I had for her that I put away in storage.

I store bows and headbands in apothecary jars. They look gorgeous and I can see them. Also, don't have to fuss around with clipping them onto a holder.

I know I'm super late, but.. Storing bows! I bought a board on Etsy that hangs on the wall that has my daughter's name on it and it has a bunch of hooks to hang the bows on the wall!

Loved this video, nice to see organising videos, would love a makeup declutter too. U are total not the only one as my little guy I have to change him into outfits for the day and he has to look nice and smart (even if 2nd hand clothes) he only wore onzies at night he's currently almost 4 months lol I just love putting him in outfits and he's a boy, help us if he end up having a girl

Etsy has headband and bow holders that display them nicely I believe there only $22. Good luck I just did this with my 7 and 8 year old daughters.

Love the idea of recommending what you need and don’t need for first time moms, but everything my son loved my daughter didnt and vice versa you can’t really know what every baby will and won’t like and will and won’t use. First time moms will always have to play around on their own to figure out what works for them and their new baby. Would be interested to see how your opinions differs from other moms. Mobiles kept my son seriously calm for some beyond miserable terrible reflux and Colic sleepless nights. Lol
