I'm always flabbergasted by the length with which you go in the explanations and narrations in all your videos! I don't even wanna think about how long it took you to do all these recordings, editings, and so on. I really want you to know that there are people who absolutely admire your contents and actually don't miss even a single second of your videos. Please keep it up!
Whoaaa thank you so much, this empowers me to do more. Ive let go of a lot of things and opportunities to make this channel my full time job. So I appreciate what you said 🙏🏽 and thanks to you all for sticking around.
@@onlyplantsI love the use of the p@£n word but I see the above stated point about algorithms. To add to that point, each platform has different word restrictions so you want to be able to share your content across all platforms without worrying about guidelines. I'm not sure if your intended audience is 18+ years old but just in case it is not and you want young plant enthusiasts to access your content that "P" word in your title might be blocked by some search engines/web settings/etc. Perhaps it's better to say it as a cheerful greeting? 🤷🏻♀️I'm not a YT content creator so I don't know what passes and what doesn't.
I’ve been looking so forward to this video. Your videos are so therapeutic for me. I lost my father two weeks ago and now I’m taking care of my mother who’s been devastated by his passing. With the passing and funeral arrangements i haven’t had time to stop. Seeing your videos makes me happy and takes my mind to a peaceful place. Thank you so much for your videos. Never doubt what you do because you are truly helping people in so many ways❤
Your Monstera hasn't reverted to green because of "low" light. Light plays no role in that at all. I've had some in light that got even more variegated by time. Your Monstera was mostly sectoral variegated, meaning not marbled. Marbled ones are relatively stable, because they have variegation everywhere in the stem and when new cells are formed, theres a high chance that some of them will be variegated too. Sectoral variegated plants are always much riskier to revert, because the variegation isn't spread out throughout the whole stem but only at parts of it. Same happened to my perfect sectoral Halfmoon Monstera - despite it being kept at very high light levels under super strong growlights 12 hrs. a day.
I highly disagree with this 😀 after growing hundreds of variegated monsteras over 5 years I have noticed a huge difference. Of course genetics will always be the number one factor in determining variegation, but light level is the second factor. If you have the time, you can propagate a few pots and try a double study with a few kept in low light and a few in very bright light. A lot of other variegated plants (but not all species) also respond the same ❤️ Perhaps the most obvious aroid to revert in low light that you can observe within weeks is the variegated peace lily.
It's nice to do plant care, (can identify with the thought process) while you do your own work, along with narration. It inspires. Let's see what others think. ❤
@@onlyplants yes unusual, thought you wanted to make people curious with that, but we kind of know what we might see, 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 something like... Ferns in bondage? 😂
What a treat!!! But that was way too short! 😂 I could have gone the other two hours. Seriously, I love your home organization vids, where it's just you and the plants, they are just so cozy! Please keep 'em coming!
Good Day Sean, Is Amazing What you Do with your Plants, I Admire You... Is never to much to Have Plants... Keep Doing What you Doing, Passion is Love...Thank You... God Bless🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏🌿🌱🍀☘️🪴🌺🌻✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Do you purposely spray the Hoyas, with Orchid Fertiliser Spray, or did I misunderstand? I will give my Birkin which is getting smaller leaves a bit more light and see what happens. Your thoughts, as you go along are enlightening. Do you have an N'joy? The propagation did well. I put it back into the pot with the original. It looks just.. OK, but none of it has new growth. I've had it 6 months. Thanks.
...you are simply the best Sean! I love your great content....always, (but cant beat seeing your personal collection & set-up), love your positive energy, expertise and esthetic! I will be re-watching this🤠:)
Hi Sean, it would be nice if you could do some episodes about fern care and propagation. Colocasia care as well, cause I am facing some problems to keep my colo happy. thanks By the way, i have just pressed the subscribe button ! Keep up with the good work!
Whoaaa thank you. By the way I have some fern propagation videos up already. Its 3 years ago but the satisfying update at the end of the videos make it a worthwhile watch! Different types of ferns were propagated.
I usually can't watch your vids for longer than 15 min just because I have littles needing my attention at home. I just watch from where I left in 3-4 days😂
Haha yesss. Please watch at your own pace. A care video like this wont happen again too soon anyway, as I post different types of topics/locations each week. Theres something different for different audiences 😀 thanks for sticking around ❤️
That’s a lot of plants, good job 😮🤭 💪 I wanted to ask you about your abidjan ficus elastica that you propagated in the past. Do you still have them? Give us an update 🙏
I really enjoyed this vid. I watched in one sitting while doing my own plant care. Thanks sean, love this kind of vid.! You’ve got to do a full plant tour soon.
Thank youu. I did a full plant tour video that was 3 hours long - about 2 months ago? In case you missed that one. Ill do another tour next year when theres significant changes 😀
when i watch your videos, I want to order more plants, but i dont have a room anymore... but i order anyway, plants that icant afford and then get anxious where to put them and if they are healthy... it is an infectuous disease of hoarding. I hope you at least have some profit of this hobby...
I buy the wire hangers ready made. They are especially for hanging pots. I have to manually poke holes into the pots for these wires using a soldering iron, which is very easy but you should be careful.
seems like i'm in that same situation to sean, no more space for my aglaonema which i just buy 😅...maybe i'll considering to put some plant at my room 😂
Great video as usual !! I have built a green wall now with all sorts of plants incloding orchids and anthuriums and they've all taken off and doing well thanks to your videos and advice. Qld Australia
I watched this in one sitting or should I say laying down😂What a wonderful way to start my day/weekend!☺️ I cant wait to see how you further transform your space!!!😁
Wow wish I was living in your area to get some of your free plants..I always admire your huge selection of plants..love that philodendron billietiae to death..its to die for..
I’m having problems with plants growing so big. What I did with my pothos are to get them climbing on moss pole, I can then control the height. Space is always a struggle for plant lover😅. Thank you for showing us your plants, I always like to see your plant wall and how it’s going. Looking forward to see your plant wall updates.
Oh Sean, this was awesome! I just got back from a five day vaca, so this has been awesome to work alongside. Before I left, I had set out my first ever predatory mites, and looks like they’re doing a great job! Your joy and satisfaction are infectious! All good things your way! xo
Very enjoyable video. Even repotted one of my own plants while watching. You have so much more light and growing space so I can understand your desire to collect so many plants. You got a great workout, too!!
Lucky neighbors! If I was your neighbor I would work for plant cuttings! Haha! Thank you so much for your videos!! I learn so much from you. Can’t wait for the next video!
I thought you said there was no room for you and you were planning on sleeping in the garage 😂😂 but it was just my bad hearing! I wish I was your neighbor, every time we prune back our succulents or divide plants,we put them at front for ppl to take,it so happens our neighbors take most of them! 😂
