You must wait months and months to see a good result lol you look a mess the day of surgeries and weeks after , I did too but in Korea and it s the best place for surgery in the world 😊
This is true! Body dysmorphia plagues a lot of people and Dr. Youn has talked about it before. Unfortunately, many doctors don't have a patient's best interests in mind and only see another paycheck.
I mean, they do. Patients often have to go to many doctors to get them to agree to procedures that shouldn’t be done until they find the one immoral one who will. Dr. Youn would never have done this.
It's doesn't matter what any1 says to som1 getting plastic surgery. They could look really bad to every1 but if that's the look that the person is gone for and they're happy with their "new look". Who are we(or the drs) to tell the patient don't get this done. You're gona look bad.
Why do people ruin their looks like that? I’m not against having plastic surgery to improve your appearance but some of these people have something called body dysmorphia it’s a mental health disorder,for instance ,when you see yourself in the mirror in a disfiguring way. The only problem is, you’re the only person who sees this. 😔
I do believe that people can do whatever they want to their bodies, but I also believe that people have to get their mental health checked before doing *anything* like that

@@mugen3603 medical transition, in its various forms, is one of the treatments of gender dysphoria proven to be effective. The other treatments are less invasive parts of transitioning, like name changes and living day to day as the gender they identify as. You can deny new scientific discoveries if you want, but you’ll just be wrong. IF this dude has a mental problem, presumably body dysmorphia, then surgery was a bad idea because that’s not the standard treatment for body dysmorphia. He could also just be weird and have weird tastes. Some people are just a little strange. TLDR; Medically necessary treatment for gender dysphoria is not comparable to cosmetic plastic surgery. Gender dysphoria and body dysmorphia are also two different things with different treatments.
I went to a plastic surgeon for my nose when I was 19. She refused to operate on me. I asked if we could do something else. My slips. No. She recommended I see a psychologist. Even though I still have body dysmorphia in places. I am glad and grateful that she did not operate on me.
A few plastic surgeons need to be criminally charged!!! Exploiting vulnerable people with body dysmorphia is a crime and people presenting as medical professionals unable to adhere to the Hippocratic Oath - first do no harm - need jail time to reflect on it!!!!!!
Or you know maybe this is something that the person wanted and that should be respected as well. Just because you think it looks wrong doesn't mean it is . Not sure how you can say this isn't this following their Hippocratic oath

There's a few things I would have done as I have a few deformities that developed over childhood trauma. My upper lip doesn't close, but instead was pushed "up" as a child because my teeth didn't come in correctly and pushed my upper lip "up". Partially due to a small mouth, partially due to childhood trauma that tormented me all my life. I also have a "crooked" or bump in my nose that I HATE. No one else has this on either side. Looking back, we think that was the result of an accident that broke my collar bone and killed my front left tooth (which is now an implant). Only thing that makes sense is along with my collar bone and tooth, my nose was broken and we just didn't know it. So if I had any plastic, I would have my upper lip close naturally, where instead, I have to "create a suction" that actually makes me look like I'm frowning. Otherwise, my mouth gets dry fast and easy. I would have the bump in my nose evened out and the tip of my nose shortened (which would help my lip close naturally). But I'm now 40 and my attitude is it's all a part of who I am as I'm FINALLY at peace with the trauma I endured.
I once went to a plastic surgeon to get a lipo on my calves and he told me that my calves are skinny AF and that it was a mental issue, definitely not a physical.
I went to have a BBL and Tummy tuck Consultation. Just to see how much everything was going to cost and get everything put in order, And he said that he didn't think I was big enough to have liposuction.. And then referred me to a psychiatrist. He said once I got my mind right He would consider working on me. But he couldn't live with himself if he worked on me knowing I had those type of thoughts about my body.
My doctor did the opposite when I went for my consultation I was 118 lbs and I’m 5”2 for lipo and they said some areas you can never get rid of 100% without cosmetic procedures and encouraged me to get my little love handles removed… and yes, I do have mental health issues 😂😂 some doctors are in it for the money for sure have no problem taking mine
@@avey4422 I decided to go to the gym..... I made the best decision. Because not only has my body improved but my mental health and my moods are so much better.

I agree with you. And some of these major nose revisions make it more difficult for the person to breath. Truly sad that body positivity doesn't cover this.

I think that was the point,not everyones perception of beauty is natural (as in making yourself look the best with your natural features) some peoples perception of beauty is unnatural or otherworldly (as in unique and exaggerated) which I think that’s what he was going for, to each their own just as long as he’s content

Because of body dysmorphia. Not only does he have defective insecurities, but his definition of beauty is much different then ours. Some like more natural. Most people can generally see that this looks bad, but some don’t, their definition of beauty is different from ours.
definitely, some surgeries would be avoided altogether if they exercised because they are things you could practically free instead of putting down tens of thousands of dollars. like liposuctions and butt implants, i mean you could get results in the same amount of down time you have from those surgeries at home. 3 months is all it takes to start growing some butt muscles, or shaving off fat. they look incredibly painful, and your wounds need to be massaged which is horrific, daily torture. all to prevent you from dying, which may happen anyways during recovery. either that or a tiny soreness from the gym.
@@comfortmeAlso, the greatest thing with exercise is that you benefit automatically from those 'happy hormones', and once you start to get into a routine, you just don't want to miss the next one. As a result, the outcome is always positive when breaking a sweat. Perhaps some people just want instant result rather than breaking a sweat.
@@comfortme Alright. Genetic plays a role at the gym and even when you’re under the knife there’s no way you could get the same result as a bbl or implants if you decide to work out. You ppl are literally giving false hopes I’m so sick of the « go to the gym and it’s 100% guaranteed you’ll get amber rose’s butt » narrative. That’s how I got false hopes with hips dips that thing is all about bones no matter how long I’ll work out it will never grow an inch
60 Minutes in Australia documented on doctors doing plastic surgery that were not trained to do the procedures. They were doing BBL and tummy tucks etc. They were really botching their patients and these doctors were putting the content on social media. One video showed the doctor killing a fly in the OR while the patient was on the table in the nude. It was so sickening to watch. Dr. Mark Ashton a qualified plastic surgeon, fixed some of these botched patients. He said in the interview that most plastic surgeons will not do a BBL because of the high mortality rate. If you want a procedure done in cosmetic surgery, you really have to do your research in finding a good qualified doctor.

There should be rules for people who want plastic surgery to consult a psychologist, because mental issues and plastic surgery most of them are related. Normal plastic surgery is only for medical reasons and not for beauty, for example, like operating on a cleft lip so he can eat normally
Doctors really should start addressing how unhealthy this is. People are beginning to just look at themselves and think they're absolutely imperfect and horrible due to social media maintaining a false narrative of perfectionism and equating anyone out of the sphere as filth. You're not horrible just because you have a deformity, or because you look one way or another.
Ok but that was right after he woke up from surgery… The first week after a procedure you have intense swelling and as a surgeon you know that you cannot see the results until weeks after. Things chill and settle. He might look really good tbh

@@nunyabeezwacks1408 I had some crazy stuff done, bone breaking in my face and such, and I looked like a bowling ball after surgery. Things sit really high at first, swollen and tight and truly you cannot see the results for weeks. It is possible this man’s results look nothing like his post-surgery pics. It’s impossible to say.
Whoever he is, I just hope he doesn't regret having so much done. But it's his money, so if he's happy, that's the main thing that matters. Even if I personally feel he didn't need anything done.

Society is trying to take away bodily autonomy, and saying that this guy (and anyone else!) can get whatever plastic surgery they want is taking that back. And of course I’m using my brain, I’m in this terrible world, if I don’t use my brain to question everything around me and try to have a conversation with people who disagree with me nothing will change. As someone with body dysmorphia. Imma say this once again and again and it's annoying....we have some serious mental issues today. Issues that weren't present in the past ...
Its good u recognize that because a lot of people with that disorder give in to changing themselves for the worse and I truly think its messing up the self image and perception of themselves more, not helping 😥
crazy how he's everyone's calling him ugly after his surgery. the thing is about surgery in general is that it kind of takes a while until after the surgery until everything is done.
This should be criminal. Your plastic surgeon should be honest and give realistic expectations. This guy is young and handsome! I know, that he wanted it..but when do you do the right thing, and step in for people or refuse the surgery..so much change and truthfully, damage to someone, especially so young and vulnerable.
