Cry'Dawna..thank you for using all the tool and not just showing your amazing painting skills. you have encouraged me to reach further with my vision. You are delightful to watch and your positive attitude (and hair) is fantastic!!!
Just beautiful!! Love the dark green and copper together, it's stunning! Love all the information even though most of it is way above my skill level, it's still interesting to see how the piece comes together. Thank you for the great video!!
I only just now watched this video, so I don't know if you will see my comment. Your videos are absolutely the best. The tutorial/teaching aspect is without parallel. The woodworking part as you built the base was so easy to understand and follow. I totally agree with other commenters that, while construction may well not be in my future, the knowledge and confidence to make small repairs most definitely is. All your information is amazingly helpful as well as so beautiful!
Wow, thank you! Thank you so much for your kind words it really means a lot!! I always pay attention to comments even on my older videos so I will always see what you say :) I KNOW you could do this!!
You are an artist and carpenter. I didn’t think I would like the inside staying original but it just makes the copper and distressing pop even more. This is pretty stunning. I love it. 👍🏼🤍
I really love that base; it completely changed the look of the piece. I have to be honest - I'm not one for doing much distressing on anything I do. But it absolutely fits this piece. I bet Chris loves it!
Thank you Lisa!! I wanted it to almost look like a wash, one of the reasons I distress things really is because if us being military also, it is bound to get distressed on its own anyways lol
@@BellaRenovare That's for sure! I remember the condition my bedroom set came in. And that was in 1980, way before the current wave of painting and distressing. lol
Great information packed into video....learned lots and also learned teacher has some tricks up here sleeve to share🤩 I think your hubby is going to love it! Great piece and copper tubing is very fitting.....thank you for sharing.....really loving extra content and videos😊kim
Thank you for the awesome video! I loved the cabinet in its original state as it has great bones but I love your mancave interpretation! Any man would be happy to have that in their space. It’s the perfect man bar!
Oh man! I love this!! I would never have the patience to do it, but I can appreciate your work and feel quite satisfied 😉 I’ll bet your husband is glad you went back for that piece.
You have such a bada$$ set of skills, I'm so impressed. Although at this point I'm not interested in construction myself, I enjoyed watching this because it's good knowledge to have even if it's just for minor repairs. 😊 🙏 thanks!
You are so inspirational. After watching you for a couple of weeks I think I am going to start my very 1st project this weekend. I'm very nervous but you've given me good info and I'm ready to try. Thank you for sharing your work with us.
Such a great job. Love the base and the copper piping. I've a bit of a soft spot for the collared green I think. Love it. Thank you so much for this indepth video. Much appreciated.
Another great tutorial, thank you for breaking down the way you did the base and the handles I really understood the process. It looks amazing love the colour
Great video and great transformation !! You made what could be a complicated repurposing to an easy makeover. Love the color, the distressing, and definitely the copper. Thanks !!
Oh wow it's gorgeous. I saw a cabinet on marketplace done like this but in black. I'm not sure which one I like better. I bought my compound mitre saw today. I am a safety nut so I watched your video the other day, I watched another one on the saw I bought and I read the manual front to back. I practiced cutting while it was off until I was comfortable to actually use it. I LOVE IT. It was so quick, easy and smooth. If anyone is hesitant about using one, if I can do it so can you. Thank you Crys Donna you gave me the boost to try. Oh and Ryobi 7 1/4" compound mitre saw is on sale at Home Depot in Canada this week for $99😃
Wow! That was amazing. I So appreciate the details, the extended information, the pricing, the actual work involved. I think so many buyers and would-be makers don't really understand all that goes into a project. This video laid it all out and that helps everyone. Thank you.
WOW WOW WOW!!! That’s FRIGGIN BEAUTIFUL!!!!! First, I absolutely love greens!!! This piece is so stunning!!!! I just love your videos! I don’t think I heard music but I really love your taste in music!
WOW!!! This is one incredible piece!! Your talent and knowledge just blows me away. The color, the design, the copper were all perfect together. And again I learned alot from this video and am gaining more confidence at trying new things like this. Love it ❤️
You are so creative! I think you amaze me more every video, if that’s even possible. The copper hardware AND the base? 🤩 Both incredible! I’d say this was a Home Run! No… a GRAND SLAM!!! ⚾️ You really did hit it out of the ball park with this one. I hope your hubby loves this one you designed and made with him in mind. I think it is so sweet how you thought of him with every decision. Style, colors, distressing etc.etc. It was darling to watch you take such care to make this just right for him. The world needs more Crys’Dawna’s in it. It would be a much happier and more colorful and more beautiful place. You are so super talented. I’ll be watching this videos MANY more times to really absorb every you taught in it! It is FULL of helpful info. Thanks again for sharing your amazing talents with us.
Just when I thought you couldn’t get any better! Love the piece and I absolutely LOVE the woodworking!! Your step by step instructions are so helpful. I am a huge fan of making structural changes to pieces so I am hoping I’ll get to see more 🥰
Love this! Thank you so much for showing us more than just the paint. I love the new direction of this channel. Soon I will redo my hutch. You gave me some ideas.
Love that style of base! Will I ever attempt it? Probably not for a LONG time lol. I'm just attempting a mid-century style base on nightstands. I need practice with measurements and saws. Great job!
@@BellaRenovare You're very talented, and got a good eye (something that has to come naturally). Don't know if you're self-taught, or whether you had any woodworking education (bc you do strike me as very professional for sure). Btw, I've been breaking my head over 2 furniture pieces, and you gave some immense inspiration, thanks! 😀
