been a fan of Extreme since 1989, so cool to see people react to them - Six is a great album - listen to it with an open mind - Extreme always keeps their fans on their toes and surprise us at every turn.
Extreme, "More than words" was their international mega song. But, they are so much more complex, diverse, funky, rocking, melodic and unique than just a song... great reaction video. Thank you..
Your very 1st reaction....this is one of the most authentic rock groups Ive heard in a long time.... Perfect. Extreme is one of the very best bands out there...and they are even better live.
Agree with you on the layered harmonies. Really adds texture and depth to the song and vocals. Also, the look on your face when Nuno's solo reaches virtuosity is priceless!
Thanks for reacting to this. It's one of Extreme's 4 singles released in the past couple of months. Consider reacting to the other 3: "#Rebel", "Banshee", and "Other Siflde of the Rainbow". I'll be here for it. These guys hadn't put out an album in 15 years. And, they are absolutely killing it.
You may have heard their song More than Words.. it’s was a huge hit in early 90s’; a very different vibe from their normal ‘rock’ songs. I learned about them when they played at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992. Extreme were formed in 1985… first big hit in with Pornograffitti album, which included the ballad More than Words. They had not made a new album for quite some time; for being around as long as they have.. this new album is really good. Gary’s voice is amazing - and Nuno is 🔥!! Thanks for your reaction!
I ran around with these guys, all the way back in the 80s from when they played little clubs. They're all in their late 50s and I think the singer. Gary is 60. Incredible. BTW, you may know the monster song More Than Words, that's them too. You NEED to react to that. As a singer, the simple vocals will knock you off your chair.
That's easily the best guitar solo of the year. Nuno is like Eddie Van Halen and Stevie Ray Vaughan, in the sense that the guitar is an extension of his body. They've been around since the late 80s, they were in a niche called "funk metal". Vocals have always been an important part of their sound, their harmonies are amazing. They have it all, tbh lol (And btw, Gary sang for Van Halen briefly) Next should be "Get The Funk Out", my favorite song because of the gnarly bass line.
That’s because there isn’t anybody like them out there anymore. Extreme started out back in the 80s. Thank God they’ve come back because we have fabulous Alice Cooper still putting out the energy and now we have Extreme back with their brilliance. Vocals are perfect, harmony and surpassed by anybody and we needed real rock ‘n’ roll they need to go into the Rick ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame Baron

Nuno is the guitarist guitarist and is one of the best in the world. The solo in this was a bit of a tribute to his favourite guitarist… the one and only Eddie Van Halen RIP. They have been around since the late 80s but it’s been 15 years since their 5 album was released, this is the 6th.
First time coming across you! How about this tune!?! If you like this, you've gotta check out the rest of the album ... so many good tunes and stylistically moves around the playground! I'n obsessed with this entire album!!
...More than Words was one of my favs of this band, Extreme. I loved their harmonising, and guitar playing. It's good to hear/see them again, its been a long time. The reaction is infectious 🤩👍☝️🖼☝️🎇🤓

Lots of others have already told you the history of the band and who Nuno is: Another Guitar God like Eddie Van Halen or Steve Vai. Nuno also has played guitar for Rhianna on tour and was the guitar part for Janet Jackson's Black Cat song. Other Extreme masterpieces include: # Rebel, Stop The World, Other Side Of The Rainbow, Hip Today, Banshee, King of the Ladies, Run, Get The Funk Out, Leave Me Alone, Save Me, Thicker than Blood, Evilangelist, Tragic Comic, Hole Hearted, Am I Ever Gonna Change, and of course More than Words. And that's just off the top of my head, they have way more.

I hate people who stop the music for saying something, like what they have to say is more interesting, specially when it's the first time that they listen to it. And it's never more interesting than listening to the music. I hate youtube because of this kind of videos.
