Confused? LONG STORY SHORT:
My name is Jess! I had a daughter (Lilia) at age 18 w/ my high school sweetheart. We mutually split up & co-parent to this day. I met someone new, got married, had twin boys (Kyson & Kaden) and another son (Landen). He cheated, we split ways, & he’s not around much. After juggling life as a single mom of 4 for some time, I met Chris, he had 2 sons: Caden and Tommy, who eventually became my step sons. After Chris and I got married, we had our 7th child together, Addelyn. With mangos tank being bigger make sure to keep checking his temps, and humidity as that will really affect it ❤️❤️

I wanna know where she stores his crickets,roaches ect. I wanna do one for my gir maybe a little smaller but with slide built in drawers for the bugs to be stored on the bottom side of her enclosure also wanted make sure I have easy access to those drawers so the bugs don't jump or crawl out when I open them.

I love that you want to custom build for Mango but you need to make sure you use the material that is specifically for reptile enclosures. If not you will have tempature, humidity issues because it isn't made to sustain what he needs, especially the lamps. I hope it works, it looks good. Awesome job on the entire room

Middle school was my worst time in school ! Nothing major happened like bullying or anything like that . But it was just a huge transition . The pressure of fitting in cause that’s when “cliques” started . I got my period in middle school . There was A TON of work & homework . I had major migraines from the stress . High school was better for me ! & I’m on my third year of college & loving it !

Been watching since Addie was born and watched every video since this has been the first video that I have been this early too it’s crazy how after years I’ve caught up. I love your videos your vlogs make me so happy your kids are so amazing. I love watching them grow into teens. Understanding your children has surprisingly helped me get into a college corse in childcare as your children are so different and u show all tantrums and how to help them. So, just a little tip, if you needed to cover just a tiny bit on the ends of the shiplap you could just throw up a piece of trim on each side 😉 maybe next time lol. Also, the three rear boards on the rear of Mangos cage I'd throw some sealant between the boards to hide the seams... but it looks amazing! Just test the temps in the cage before putting mango (or another creature 😉) in it. Love the room, it looks great!

My daughter has a bearded dragon and her and her grandpa took an old entertainment center and turned it into a cage. Also my husband built a storage bench for our kitchen but have struggled with hinges. So thanks for the idea!

I’d be very careful sign that cage and make sure that material is certified for use with animals! It could not be, and you’ll have issues with maintaining his environment. Glass is used over acrylic for a reason typically!

If that bottom is self adhesive you'll need to make it not that, because it will burn his belly as there belly can't feel heat, since his heat lamp needs to be on 12/12.

Not related to this video but my 7 year old son just recently got the expander and he’s been super insecure with the way it’s affecting his speech, so I went back into the videos of Kayden having his and how his speech slowly improved as he got used to it and it really made my son comfortable and feel okay with his speech being a little bit affected, thank you so much!!! Jess... can I recommend to use walnut shell grounds as a sand base for Mango. I grew up with Beardies and that works amazing for us.

Walnut shell grounds are not recommended for bearded dragons, just like sand or other loose substrate. It can cause impaction, especially if they are fed in their enclosure but even if they are not since dragons tend to lick everything. Some people use loose substrate successfully, but it's a risk. Ideally, a non-porous solid substrate is best. Ceramic tile, non-adhesive shelf liner and non-adhesive vinyl flooring are good choices.

The whole room looks amazing and I love the storage chest for the kids but I agree with Chris standing inside. Mango's cage came out absolutely amazing totally love it.. and I'm glad you sealed his tank even though he doesn't have a lot of water in his tank moisture will build up and set into the woods and grow mold, can't wait to see the next project or projectsss..lol

You all need to colab with a DIY/Decorator channel for these projects. I applaud you for showing how real people doing home projects make mistakes and that pintrest ideas dont always turn out how they look in the photos. I think you and Chris would learn a heck of a lot working with another DIY couple on a few projects.

Make sure all of your glues and stains are safe for mango! It also seems so sterile of a home for him with no dirt or sand :(

i would do the green boards all the way down. that way if you decide not to have the bench there in the future its just a green shiplap wall, you don't have to finish it all the way down to not look weird later :)
