EXTREME Search for the Perfect ITALIAN Food; in Cesis Latvia 🇱🇻
Italian food is on of the most delicious cuisines, and although Italians create miracles with few ingredients, preparing and fusing them is a real art to get right.
Unlike in the USA and Western Europe, Latvia does not have an abundance of Italians or Italian restaurants, so when I heard of an Italian Restaurant 112km away that is owned by an Italian... I just had to check it out.
Fortunately one of my subscribers, Travis, suggested we fly there and have lunch, and boy were we in for a pleasant surprise.
Join me as fly to the city of Cesis in Latvia in search of Latvia's best Italian restaurant.

What a great video! I know you like flying, but the 8 Euro bus ride from Riga to Cesis has so much beautiful scenery of the white birch forests, farm fields and then you pass through Sigulda! I have lived in New York for many years and have been to most of the famous, highest-rated pizzerias and tried some of the greatest pizza. I hope you take a trolley ride to video Mežaparks and Riga Brethren Cemetery. Then stop at Mama Daba (Mother Nature) and order their funghi pizza (with forrested mushrooms). It is so thin and crispy exactly like NYC/Brooklyn pizza, dripping with oozy melted cheese and that properly blackened undercrust. One of my favorites, best enjoyed with a Latvian beer. I hope that your channel explodes in popularity as you do such a great and talented job of vlogging Latvia! What a great person and eloquent speaker!

The biggest problem with Italian food outside of Italy- and even in Italy in tourist restaurants, is they go crazy with too many ingredients and incorrect ingredients- like garlic, butter and cream. Getting a real cacio e pepe or carbonara is almost impossible. I think part of it is many people would feel they aren't getting their money's worth if they get a dish at a restaurant which has 3 ingredients. This place looks good, though...

Great job capturing the flight to Cesis and the restaurant experience. Cesis is a great area for hiking, canoeing, swimming, camping and of course Bekko Restaurant. Each time we are in the region we stop for a meal and can't get away without having the excellent Gelato made by Max. Great food and great people.

So first of all great video! So as Italian born and raise....in italy I can say that food was top quality bro. They got me with bresaola ,bottarga and the real Gelato! Glad you have fun ...we need to try a tour of the bar in venezia lol

I would never have dreamt of having italian food in Latvia but that looks awesome and genuine must try,didnt know there was an airfield in Cesis that was cool...I found a good brand in Latvia for coffee called Mondays you should try normally I have lavazza its the best...

Fantastic experience in that plane. That restaurant looked so good, I haven’t seen many kitchens but it looked like it was well kitted out. Can’t beat Italian coffee ☕️

Italian food is also one of my favourite and you’ve made me crave for some now 😋 Everything looked absolutely delicious.
