The bathroom makeover turned out amazing. I love the black grout on the white hexagon tile and I love the artwork with the pink wood pieces. Very nice!
I wonder if any of you realize the "shims" are trash wood? Builders & carpenters use it when something isn't level & they are not straight nor precision cut. They are shoved into places to make them sturdy or level. They are not finished wood, they are not meant to be seen by the public. However, as someone stated earlier, it IS "Your" bathroom, do what you want, absolutely, just saying. Shims are made rough & odd sizes etc, again, not meant to be seen. Ty for the ideas though.👍
SAFETY TIP for anyone who is planning a future DIY for a bathroom. Take an old rag & place it inside the drain hole for the toilet. Obviously make sure you can remove it when your ready to install the toilet again. If not you are allowing sewage gas into your home & that is not safe. That is something my Dad taught me a long time ago when I was a kid & helping him replace a toilet & flooring.
I love what you did to your daughter's bathroom. I love every bit of it it goes together very harmoniously. God bless your husband putting the grout in for the flooring. LoL 🤣
Oh my gosh Liz. This bathroom makeover is beautiful. My small bathroom is shaped like hers except my vanity is 60ish" long. Then the toilet then the tub/shower. I love the way you decorated your daughter's bathroom. I hope she like's it too!
That piece of wood art is so cool. If you also needed storage you could have made the trim deeper and added shelves on the front like an open medicine cabinet. Love the whole thing (except I would have painted the walls with a shade very close to white but not so there would be contrast between the trim and the wall and the ceiling.
Omg! We removed tile from our entire downstairs last year. It was a much bigger project than we anticipated. Even had to replace our TV because our teenage son was helping and the mallet slipped out of his hand and landed in the tv screen in the next room. 😮 but in the end we got some beautiful new flooring. My husband and son did an amazing job. I only wish I would have seen your video before we started so we would know what we were getting into. (FYI our house is 3200 square feet so you can imagine what a job it was). Now I just have to figure out how to decorate it.. I have so design style!!!! I’m hoping to get some inspiration from your videos. Lol 😂
Hiya Liz. I always admire a large piece myself. Would choose the large modern fixture myself. That woodwork Ombre pink pattern is everything. Digging that oh so very much girl. You & the hubs work faboo as a team. Beautifully upscaled Liz.
WOW!!! What a nice mom and dad! Your husband seems great, of course, I'm sure he's used to your DIY-ing, and we didn't get to see when the camera was off! LOL!! I'll bet Annabelle was thrilled! How old is she? Can I have her room and bathroom when she leaves for college? Because my bathroom now would probably fit twice in hers! She's a lucky gal. Everything looked great, Liz...another winner. God bless you and yours. And please tell your husband that we all really appreciate his hard work and full and willing cooperation. 👍🤗
WOW, I BELIEVE THIS US THE BEST BATHROOM RENO I LIKE THE BEST FROM ALL THE BATHROOM RENO’s I HAVE SEEN. I AM SURE YOUR DAUGHTER NEVER WANTS TO LEAVE HER BATHROOM NOW! YOU HAVE AMAZING TASTE AN EYE FOR RENOVATIONS & DECOR! MY FAVE WAS THE TILES & THE PEICE ABOVE THE TOILET WHICH WAS A LOT IF HARD WORK TO MAKE! I APPLAUD YOU FOR PULLING THAT OFF! I LOVE YOUR USE OF WOOD! You make wood look so appealing! I’M SO GLAD I STUMBLED UPON YOUR CHANNEL. GOD BLESS YOI AND YOUR FAMILY! HAVE A GREAT NEW YEAR 2021🥳
I love the makeover! Annabelle is a lucky girl! I especially like the ombre twine piece and that large lighting fixture. It does make a statement! The whole room is beautiful! I wonder, though, if you should include a stylish waste basket? Perhaps a slim one would fit between the vanity and the wall, handy but out of sight. Thanks Liz! You and your husband did a fantastic job!
Totally crazy for those 2 wall projects u did. I had bought 3 different shades of blue dye last summer because i wanted ti do ainw kind of rope project. Im definitely going to replicate urs. Im so into ur videos. Especially love rhe makeover ones. U do such a good job of explaining what, why, n how u do wacg step. My granddaughters bathroom is similar to ur daughters- its just such a hot mess. Ive been closing my eyes n just shutting the door. U have given me hope. Keep posting:)
GORGEOUS 🥰❤️. YOU inspire me to no end I just last NITE redid the bedroom n decorated it so neat and the lighting with colors popping in areas it's so neat thank you for your AMAZING 🙌 videos ☺️!!!
Really beautiful! Next spring I will redo my bath as well. Love your unique wall piece, that took a lot of time. I love the shims idea! Thanks for sharing !
Looks REALLY NICE and wow lots of work and passion. One thing I would have changed is the floor tile.... would prefer a marble or marble look ceramic to match the beautiful vanity counter. I’m not a fan of that honeycomb which is a bit dated. Love your videos!
