Just go for it mate it's actually easier than you think. I'm 52 and still go stealth camping. I live in London and haven't got a car so I just load up my bike with panniers and go along the canal to a quiet spot, still within the M25.
Although I was introduced to you Chris on Blot Outdoors on the Lake District wild camps (which are my favourites as I just love the laugh between the three of you) your style of vlog is different, which I find enjoyable too. You seem a very humble guy mate. God bless and all the best moving on. 👍❤️

You shouldn't have to explain yourself to anyone. You're doing what you love to do and you're not hurting anyone in the process. You hit the nail on the head; if you don't like it, don't watch it. Loving the vids anyway. I only just discovered the world of stealth camping and it's more addictive than I thought, haha!

You should try the DD style tarp tent setup, either the 1 or 2 pole setup - the doorway is a little cramped but seems to hold up pretty well, lanshan setup also looks good but far too much faffing around getting in and out.

You and another channel have gotten me back into stealth camping. I've been doing it in a hammock with a tarp over head. Best nights sleep I've ever had. In the rain under a tarp being rocked to sleep in pitch black woods works wonders for my ptsd. I feel reset for at least a week. Like you, i want a little one man tent, or one of them bivy bags. Im in the mood to go out on another camp now. Cheers, mate. You're awesome.

Always love these stealth adventures. Bonny ladd is doing a good thing. One note though. The size of your tarp is good. You can always fold a piece of it underneath itself as a groundsheet. Always stake it off with pegs. As for the Camo netting. Drape it on top of your shelter and use debris to add to that.
I carnt on the extreme stealth camping once I've had me grub and cans and it's dark I literally black out till about 4 o'clock in the morning waiting for it to get light cheers for watching bud 👍
All of your meals always look crackin'! I'm ashamed to admit that I've got a Trangia set & am yet to use it....... Have had it 16mths 😞, but every time I see you creating a crackin' meal I wanna get oot & aboot and cook on it....... Ideally all stealth-like...... Dead casual like. ATB

Lol I never knew that about troll comments upping your statistics but of course it makes sense, like you said it's a win win for you. I wanted to post a comment anyway saying you're doing some top stealth camping, I've done similar stuff before, it's amazing how close you can get to where there is traffic or people moving without being spotted.

I don't normally comment but thought I'd let you know I'm Silksworth born and bred and went to Robert Richardson School (years ago..........) married and lived in Ryhope for 20 years. So it's fascinating to see your camping spots, paths that I've walked etc. Daughter is 34 and she went to Southmoor. Is the Albion still open? Handy for a pint 🍻🤣
