Extreme Terrain Amphibious Vehicle - Argo Conquest 8x8! The perfect Survival and Bugout ATV! 

They definitely seem more tippy in the water with a roll cage on them. I've done several frame out restorations on the older 1995-2000 models. They are a simple machine for what they are and can do.

I've loves these Amphibious vehicles since I was a kid! The first time I seen one as a kid was on the TV show called "Space 1999". They were using the 6x6 ATTEX machines in the show to drive around on the moon, so my brother and I simply called them moon buggies. I have plans to fabricate a suspension system for my Argo 8x8.

I have had 4 wheelers and Side by Sides and I think these Argo 8x8s are more versatile that the others. They can haul 1000lb payload of people, equipment or gear. They can tow around 1200lbs for work around a hobby farm or large farm or if you simply have a bit of land. I use mine for recreation, work, hunting, camping and fishing in places a 4 wheeler or sise by side can't go. They are easy to work on, maintain or repair.

When I was a kid we called the swamp buggies. I've always loved these machines. The newer ones cost around $20,000+ but you can find used older models ranging around $4500 - $8000 if they are in good shape.

The older ones they don't make anymore in lieu of the new models but all the parts I need when I restore these older ones are still readily available. This yellow one I'm driving had only 96 original hours put on it and was still in like new condition for a 2000 year model. To replace a bearing on it is easy and cheap at only $25 per bearing. I usually buy them in poor condition and then do a complete frame out of the tub restoration on them before passing them along. They are very easy to work on and maintain in the field with a metric socket set, Allen wrenches and screw drivers. It never hurts to put together a basic field repair kit with a few parts that may break like a few chain master links, an inner and outer bearing, brake pads, tire plug kit, some zip ties and maybe a cheap carb rebuild kit in a small bag to keep in the storage compartment on the vehicle. This yellow one is almost 22 years old and runs like a raped ape! It's actually a very basic and simple machine and in a survival or SHTF type situation, simple is always best because EVERYTHING will be discontinued and not available if the SHTF! Parts are available for these older machines and are cheap for the few parts that you may have to replace it you do abuse it or just wear something out on it.

Currently we aren't building anymore. I let my FFL expire to go to school to learn to machine my own parts since we can't get any parts to build with. I do however have enough parts left over for you to build one of our M5 AR-10 Pistols if you want them.

@@djwashington186 it's all brand new parts still in the box. Everything needed to build one of our 10.5" M5 AR-10 Pistols with a CMC 2.5lb Competition Trigger. I'll even build the upper and all you'll need to do is build the lower with the lower build parts. For Everything it would be 26 hundo. The stripped Lower would have to be shipped to your FFL. Everything else would be shipped directly to your house.

@@J0SHUAKANE School doesn't start until the fall but since I can't get parts to build with, I'll seek the knowledge to make my own.

I'm 6ft and 250lbs and the front is very roomy for me and another front seat passenger. The rear seats 4 people sitting side by side facing each other to the inside, 6 people in total on land or 4 people in the water. I'm going to fabricate a removable rear bench seat like the front seat is and make it more of a 4 person + gear on land and water vehicle. I'll put an electric 55lb trust trolling motor on it for water use. I'm in the process of fabricating a independent suspension for all 8 tires then put 25" tires on it from the 22" on it now. I'll make a removable roll cage with LEDs light bars for it also. There's plenty of room in mine for us big guys!

It's a modified protein diet like Keto is that I've been on for the last 1.5 months. I've lost 35lbs already. It was time for a diet when I hit 280lbs. After 1.5 months on this diet, I'm down to 245lbs with a goal to get down to 220lbs when I was in good shape in the Army. Thanks for noticing my weight loss!

@@2artactical55 very cool. I use the Keto diet to shed about 30lbs every 2 years or so. It get to be a pain in the ass and I gain it back lol, inflation doesn’t help the meat prices either. But health is wealth, keep doing your thing, throw in some shooting videos, I miss them.
