Just found the channel. My rescued 14yo Border Collie recently passed. Seeing the distinguish and handsome Mr. Hennessey brought a happy tear to my eye. His warnings when you got near his face were pure Border Collie! Keep up your great work.

I've had Boarder Collies my whole life and a well groomed Collie is gorgeous! My "now" Collie would be in heaven in that furnado! He's the only dog I've ever known that's not interested in outdoor toys but loves to throw leaves, grass and fur balls in the air and do back flips trying to catch them!

My BC used to have the best time catching fluffy snowflakes... Either out of the sky as they were falling, OR if it was the stream of snow out of the snowblower... kinda like garden hose style. 😂 (We were really careful about only allowing it during powdery snow, and to not actually clear down to any syrface debris could be on)

That is simply adorable. I had 3 Collies as a girl & younger woman. Not boarder Collies but Tri coat Collies. They really do seem to love the simpler things in life don't they? Just the Best Dogs💕 One of our Granddogs is a Husky. We love him so much & his singing of the songs of his people. 🤭🤣

Yes, I remember when most of the videos were pretty similar, e.g., "tidying up Grinch feet" was in each one. There's more variety now and the quality is very good.

WOW! Lots of fur. Very handsome dog. I bet he feels much better now. A friend has a dog that is part border collie. She's such a sweetheart, but when ever people get together for a party, she walks around the group, trying to coral them into the center of the room. It's quite hysterical. Dogs are so wonderful!

Collie gotta collie :D I've never met one that didn't have that instinct in one form or another, from my uncle's rough collies that kept us kids rounded up in the backyard, to my friend's border-something cross that fussily polices up all of the toys that the other dogs leave scattered around :D

Mine used to help raise foster kittens and once they were big enough to leave the kitten pile it became his life's work to place them back on the pile.

The BC brain is silencing the husky mouth!! My two BCs are blowing their coats. Even though I comb/brush them several times a week, there is more fur on my carpet than there is on my pets!

He's dreamy! You did a great job with his make over. Having previous experience with a Husky and a Border Collie, a Broder Collie-Husky mix would be my worst nightmare. Border Collies are super smart defy ers of the laws of physics and nature...and Huskies are escape artists with stamina for days. All that talent balled up in one dog is exhausting. I bet Hennessey was something else in his youth!

I've personally seen a border collie leap over a six foot fence, so both sides are pretty good at getting out of places they didn't want to be!

My grandfather and I bred, raised, and trained Border Collies. I always tell people that it's very much like having a child with an IQ of 200. I will also recommend a fence that's at least 8 ft. (10 is better) with nothing close to climb.

The way my laziness is setup would never allow me to even consider a border collie or a husky. A mix of the two?!?!?!?!? My brain is unable to comprehend. I hope Hennessy's owner(s) enjoyed all those 20 miles/day walks or whatever it would take to keep a dog like that from driving one crazy when he was younger.

I was sick and had to go to urgent care, and I saw you on the TV in the waiting room! What a wonderful thing to see when I was in need of a pick me up! I remember you said once that when the hair balls stick to the fur like that, it means the dog was shaved in the past and their undercoat is damaged. I wonder if this happened to this kind boy? Another wonderful groom!

My daughter had a babysitter, years ago who had a 'rust-red' chow. My daughter would sit with that dog in the spring and just pick the cream color 'blown coat' off of her, handfuls of it every day. The sitter always paid my daughter with homemade cookies, and the dog paid her with sloppy kisses.

I LOVE this dog. My "soul-mate" is a Samoyed dog that I had the priviledge of owning from 1981-1995. His name was "Booka" and I miss him every single day. Since "Booka", I have owned Shetland Sheepdogs, one of whom was another soul-mate. (They are similar to Border collies...) In this video, I KNOW that the grey undercoat that is shedding out is from the sled-dog side of his family! Watching this makes me miss "Booka" even more

I love border collies! We had one my brother rescued. We called her Lady and she was the most intelligent dog I’ve ever been around. Since my brother had passed away, I was with her until the end. What a noble dog she was.

Border collie and husky... holy cow! His owners must have had to keep him busy when he was younger! Probably the best dog on earth if you know what you're doing, though. That was a LOT of fur! And I love how carefully he warned you about brushing his face, what a good boy!

I miss by Border Collie. She was a pure bred working line with 4 generations of dame and sire AKC champions in agility and herding. She was the runt of the litter when I purchased her from an older certified AKC breeder in Pacific Palisades, Ca. I was her Charlie Brown and she was my Snoopy. She didn't do well herding and wasn't as fast as other dogs in the ball relay, but she was agile beyond all belief, could climb and could jump my 8ft tall gate to my backyard in one try. She waited until I got home from work before taking her last breath and passing at my feet. The best and most loved companion a man could ask for.

Wow! Huge difference and while the furnado was happening he looked so happy it was coming off! Such a handsome gentleman. His face while you were combing it was rather funny. Don’t think he would have bitten you. I believe it was all for show but you can’t be too sure. ❤

I love how his undercoat is just coming off in sheets of fluff during the blow out. I was at my cousin's last week and thanks to your videos I now know that her huskies desperately need to get a grooming because their undercoat is super compacted. Especially their old man husky who's about 11 and they're never once groomed any of their dogs. I feel bad for him knowing there's this much fur or more under there. I appreciate all the information you provide during these videos, I feel like it will make me a better parent to my future fuzzy children.

You seem to have such a way of gently grooming all your clients dogs and cats. And sometimes do great volunteer work on strays with fleas. I recently saw the flea bath post when you were in Florida. You couldn't clip his murder mittens because he needed them for defense. Great job.😊
