I saw a comment from one newbie on one vid that said he'd been ground handling for a couple of months, had been struggling a good bit, and was finally starting to really get the hang of it. About that time his wife who'd been watching a lot of it said 'that really doesn't look that hard', so being a man he said OK, you give it a shot then. He said within a few minutes she was better than him, and having so much fun he couldn't get her to give it back. He was complaining about it (kind of), I would have gone and bought another wing and enjoyed the company. What better way to enjoy a hobby like this than to have your (good) wife involved...now if she's a total PIA...maybe not.

Mark from Florida Here,. Great video,. How safe do you think the GTX Glider is Paramotor Flying ? You are an excellent Pilot and instructor. I recommend your videos to everyone . Your videos are always a comfort to reference to in my paramotor flying.

Glad to hear. The GTX is a safe and solid glider when flown by experienced pilots but shouldn’t be flown by low air time pilots as it’s quite responsive and dynamic. Stay tuned for more films...

To add one more thing to what SkySchool wrote, JIC you are worried about getting a wing that is too low performance that you can't do anything with, and dread the cost of buying a higher performance wing later, Tucker Gott has a video (if this channel doesn't, search them first) about doing some 'stunting' on an beginner's A wing. He said it was a bit less responsive, but he was doing fairly high level maneuvers (rolls and the like, that a newbie should NEVER attempt). He is quite experienced to the point that he flew with the airshow demo team at OshKosh, one of the (if not the?) largest fly-in airshows in the world. His point was that an A wing, in experienced capable hands, CAN do some pretty serious maneuvering, and that all the too early advancement to more high performance and 'stuntable' wings, under the guise of being wing limited, when a learning pilot hasn't utilized the capabilities of the one they are currently flying carries with it increased risk, so learn to do what the wing is reasonably and safely capable of before you graduate to a less forgiving, higher performance wing that requires more knowledge and more proficiency to fly safely (assuming that is your intended arc). He even stated on that flight that he would STILL use an A wing like that if conditions warranted it, ie. somewhat marginal, but still safe. And he is a proponent of ALWAYS knowing the weather and when it's too marginal for the standard AND what you are comfortable with, choose NOT flying, as will be any instructor, as well, and be aware and terminate the flight if conditions start to unexpectedly worsen. He has also pointed out more than once, and he's not the only one I've heard say this, that saving money with a much older wing is a bad trade in several respects, as the designs have progressed over time so they are much safer, even if the old school wing is known to be low hours and deemed safe by someone qualified as far as structure, etc. Go look at very experienced folks trying to launch very high performance wings in competition flying and you'll see that if you tried those as a starting wing, you likely would be forever just trying to get off the ground the first time...and a menace to yourself in the air when you finally accomplished a launch...and the performance gains are, really, peanuts unless you are trying to eek out the last couple of percent to achieve that. TMI, probably, but JIC you are interested and unaware, and that was the thinking. I realize this is way beyond the scope of what you asked, but runaway train of thought, poor impulse control, and all that. :-/ Sorry. Best recollection, he also recommends this school, along with just one or two others as being top notch.

Great advertising for the sport. However common misconception there about "im coming off power to slow down and enjoy the views"
