Hi Laura, I also have pax system for 2 years now and I love it. I have spent a lot almost 3.000 euros lol on it and it is only for me.. and I still have coats in other place ahah. A god tip that I can give you is to don't forget to attach them at the walls (if anything happens you'll loose warranty if they are not properly fixed) and to fix them on each others side (they will be perfectly together, more sturdy and will last you a lot longer- those screws also comes in the pax system). The more sturdy the better specially when you start putting clothes on them. Also light is paramount. I made a big investment back then in lights using the ikea option But if you want to save money choose a really god directional central lamp. As for acessories, when I 1st purchased I also only have the same similar acessories divider. Last month I picked their "special ones for jewlery" and I couln't be happier because whenever I closed the board, all my jewlery got scattered ahah a pain actually. A final ideia is to protect handgabgs or shoes from dust or to save you from "cleaning all the time" you can on a later stage insert glass doors on specific spots and it will give that boutique feel :) the good thing about the pax system is that you can always change and improve if you want. kisses from Portugal
Diana Cruz Hi Diana, ahhh wow thank you so much for all of that advice! 💖 ... I haven’t screwed then together yet just because I’ll most properly be moving in a year so will be taking these with me and worried they might be a pain to take apart if screw them all together! 😩 Yes I picked up some of those lights from Ikea also so need to get them in 🙊 ... can’t wait to have lights in my wardrobes ha. And yes good idea about the handbags and shoes - I’ve heard a lot of people say about the dust issue with these wardrobes but they just look so pretty open don’t they 😍😍. Thanks for all your help, super useful! 💘 xxxx
Oprea Aida Ahhh the mircrophone must be good at not picking it up 🙊 but it can be so distracting for myself as I’m so conscious it may get picked up!! 💖
Wow it looks gorgeous. I do have these wardrobes and I noticed u have not joined them together. I would advise this as when they are all full they can move slightly and it just makes them more secure. You have both done an amazing job it looks fab 😊
Hiya Laura, I am loving your business chic look in the intro👍🏽. Your Wardrobe Room is coming together nicely. You and Aaron did a great job assembling the flat pax👍🏽. I can't wait to see the final reveal😁. Thank you so much for breaking down the process of designing your wardrobe, it was so very helpful. Have a lovely evening and give my love to Buddy and Boo🤗🤗.
Such a difference think I might swap my old three door wardrobe from Argos years ago for an Ikea one I'm redoing my room hopefully in March as our roof has leaked in my room but until we have no rain I can't get the roof sorted but so motivated now! 😄👏💖
Wow looks amazing in there! Can’t wait for the finished look! The fitted wardrobe doesn’t look that bad the mirror makes it look nice 😍 and definitely get some blinds (light colour) instead of the curtains because blinds will make room look bigger
Even my window is placed the same. I didn't think I could have so much in so little a space. Now time to redo my space. Thanks. Look forward to your next video upload.
Emma-rose Vincent thanks for the comment! I was just thinking that her wardrobes split especially on the top. I am planning to buy pax myself now and that scared me a little bit. I was like: omg, are they not gonna fit snuggly. Do they already come with those screws or do you have to buy them separately?
Thank you so much for all the advice at the start regarding designing your room and the process you went through. It was so helpful as I’m considering doing it myself too. Also you look lovely in this video!! xxx
Love seeing your makeover as the room is the same size and shape as mine. Now I can really get a good visual as to how mine would look. The island you have is called Kallax. Amazing products. Thanks.
Amy Whittington Yes 100% recommend doing that as I found it really difficult to start and navigate around the online design package when trying to design them at home! They are super helpful in store and are so quick as they do it every day 🙊 so definitely recommend speaking to them and getting them to help you get an initial design then once you’ve got the code to access your design you can open it up at home and play around! So glad I did this as it gives you time to think and adjust 💘 xxx
Love the transformation! Quite an interesting comment about having to split the design. I used the online planner myself at home and done both walls within the same project. I played with mine for a good while though while the room was being renovated to be sure I was happy with it. Pictures of the online planner and end product on my home Instagram @the.renovation.diaries 😊 x
