This actually brings up a ship design point-real ships don't have just gaping open cargo holds that could fill up with water when a wave spills over the deck and thus get the whole ship easily swamped. On real ships the deck is kept level with runnels cut into the upper hull so that water on the deck will just flow right back into the sea instead of down into the hold. It'd be interesting to see the difference-if you covered up that open hold with flat pieces and drilled a couple runnels in the side of the hull I guarantee that City Liner wouldn't get so easily swamped, at least during test 2. It looked okay in terms of ballast though, must have had that heavy ballast piece that came with the lego boats. Serious business indeed.

I dont know why but im obsessed with these tinier things in the life. There was an episode of love death and robots, they got a small civilizatiton in their fridge, that was the best thing i saw

the only thing I have to say about how accurate that lego boat is, is that an actual one doesn't have a deep pit to collect water in like that lego one. The top would have a deck level with the outer lip and the sides would have holes level with the deck to let any water that did collect on the deck to drain off
