EXTREME yard transformation for FREE!!! 

We need a name for the John Deere? Everybody send in suggestions 😃 Live stream...Al you pick the final name!

I have fond memories of watching and helping my Grandfather mow his lawn, when I was just a young kid,....maybe I was 11 or older. He used an manual push mower and it was fairly hard work. He'd take a lot of breaks, and we'd talk the whole time. He loved to drink Miller Highlife beer, and he'd let me take a couple sips or at least sample the foamy head. This would have been in the late 1950s. Life was slower paced back then,...not everyone had a gas engine mower. Good memories.

I love watching your videos and the fact that you do it from the heart warms mine. My wife and I went to our church years ago and helped a family that needs some help. The plaster was my second cousin and knew a lot of people that were having hard times to even get Christmas presents for the kids. Do we h got clothes sizes shoe sizes to make sure. We got a list of what the kids were hoping to get as gifts and got all of it together took it to the church and had him call the family in but didn't tell them why. When they got there he told them that help had arrived for their needs. He called us in and told them to have a seat . He told the father to go with me and give me a hand unloading my truck with some things. He helped for a minute or two then asked who all this was for. I told him it was things for people in need of help. He liked the idea. He looked A little disappointed that his family may not have been chosen. When it was all inside the he was looked upset at his wife. She got him to sit down and calm himself. My cousin then looked at me and I just shrugged my shoulders and shook my head, he grined turned to them and said we have a surprize for you. This man and wife chose yours to help out and tears fell from their eyes.

What a blessing for those who live nearby. I don't live in the area, but I bet your local senior services group (Care Finders, etc.) could give you a list of elders in the community that could use some help with out of control lawns.

I wish I had that mower when I was cutting grass. There's something something and therapeutic for me in watching your videos. Thanks for what you do, it is amazing.

My last JD lasted me 25 years thru 2 houses, one of which was a big 15,000 sf lot that had a ton of trees than gave off leaves/needles year round. Twice a week cutting/vacuuming on both lots, growing season in Houston is about 9 mos a year. Bought another one and he is 15 years old, going strong on a smaller lot now that we have downsized. Killed me to give my older one away. I am one of those ladies that asks for lawn equipment for birthdays, etc. Love my Johnny Deere self propelled walk behinds. They are my babies. Worth every penny.

That is one hell of a mower, it munches the thickest tallest grasses and everything else in its path. Plus credit to you Al Blades for taking the time and your own dime to do this and all the other jobs for those that aren’t able to due to I’ll health, I’ve watched similar videos on RU-vid some Australians that do it with push mowers, but their transformations are nothing like yours. Keep up the good work Al and your filming buddy 👍 if only there were people in the UK that did this sort of service..

I had to pay someone to cut my yard. Then I got my teen sons to bag the grass into 30 gal, trash bags. I told them I'd give them money, we agreed on $1 abag. I was to see them when I got home from work. I came home to a clean yard & not a bag of grass any where. They swore they had 20 bags and some guy asked for it & hauled it off. I paid them, glad to have it gone. They were happy. Me to giving them some spending money. And them having helped out. No Als in Kansas back then. I like watching your helping folks out. Al, a guy who runs Next Generation Lawncare has become concerned with schools in his area with neglected care and also putting playgrounds back to usable condition. Do you have anything like that where you are? He wants kids and staff to have pride in where they go and places for kids to play. You tackled a big deal with that large area and it doesn't look like the grass was all that inclined to give up residence. Your John Deere did indeed "keep up" with what you gave it to do. You made a much more pleasant sight for all passing by. Noted the detail work you did in removing not just the tall grass and weed trees but climbing vines off and around the decorative structure. Thank you to the person who helped with videoing.

Businesses with fields in the Western Maryland/West Virginia area would allow farmers to come in a few times a season and make hay. The farmer gets his hat at a cheap price and the business owner gets his field mowed and makes a few dollars on the side. But I still enjoyed seeing you knock that stuff with the JD!
