Whoever was riding that Yamaha probably didn't buy it with their own money probably mommy and daddy bought it. Glad you got it and brought it back to life I mean come on its only a few years old! Its only a 2018.
Bearing / race removal... Get a long brass drift/punch (10"+/-) & hammer. Align the drift/punch along the same axis that the axle goes while inside the hub. Catch the very edge of the opposite side outside bearing race, and pound it out while working the drift/punch back and forth across the bearing race.
I like the weld idea for the stuck bearing races. Also, you can pick up a piece of square stock (long square piece of steel, about 1/2” thick, and hit it from the backside. Heat em up and a couple whacks and she’ll pop.
Ive watched a few of your videos but to be honest I kinda skip around cause there is a lot of slow video, but I never know how much you spend on these bikes so will you please start sharing that information a few times in the video so we know.
just found your channel, im somewhat new to the dirtbike/small engine world and i really like how you explain things in "simple easy" terms. definitely a new sub here
Hey man I love the content, I noticed In my area a lot of for sale project bikes doesn’t have paper or registered. Do you recommend buying those if the vin number checks out clear
Hey man love the videos. I actually am having this problem with my 2016. It will run but it wont idle. Then once you start riding it will top out at low rpms and backfire like crazy when you give it gas.
@@DJsGarage yuh mane try it out, its fun doesn’t even matter if u know how to wheelie or not everyone having fun, plus it’ll be good content for ya channel if u went to ride out plus since you know how to fix bikes u could network yaself to all the dudes riding and let em know you a mechanic or whateva and u could be flipping bikes and fixing em too👀👀
@@DJsGarage Its very fun. Go with a couple buddies and camp overnight if possible. You don’t have to rent a cabin or have a RV. You can just bring a tent, cooler, propane stove or grill an you will be set. They also have showers. #keep up the good work young man
Nooooo! There is enough area around the inside of the bearings race that will let you punch it out with a long round punch and a hammer. Good golly, what do they teach people in high school anymore???
