I owned an 86 GN with the digital dash and little else. It was a real oddball. Manual windows, manual locks, no cruise control. No posi rear end either. It would do the one wheel burnout at New England Dragway. It did have the Delco Bose cassette stereo, so I think that was another option. But that digital dash could be a bit of a pain. It once ran out of gas with 2 gallons showing. Also, if a warm autumn day turned chilly at night, it took a while to adjust the heat from full cold to full hot by repeatedly pushing the digital button. I loved it, but it was stolen from the Searstown Mall in Leominster Mass. in 1991.
I know people love an original car but if you're gonna drive these cars you will have to replace and rebuild unless you're just gonna garage them. When I got mine it ran fine but even with a confirmed 74k miles my timing chain was very loose. I sent it to Steve v for the update of the whole power train pretty much a restoration minus the paint. Interior is perfect. I got it back and my power master failed. So if you want to drive these cars and not have a lawn or garage ornament be prepared to put money in them.
Hey what's happening now that's awesome Buick G.N I've seen one at a car show the owner did some mods to it but it's better to leave it stock & thanks for sharing your videos with me 🖐👍🤔🙂💞
