TYSVVVVM Jason.... for viewing my own 7/13/24 400 am Tstorm...indeed..those two claps were loud...even with the window completely closed...to help keep out the very muggly sea breezes, mosquitoes and bats...and so right you are...it was exactly 7 years later to the same day of my own 7/13/17-extremely closeby lightning strike video that you also saw...Glad you also saw Tom's own video some 2 hours before mine on 7/13/24...albeit mine was louder...Interesting that 7/1 also brought me nice big Tstorms in past years, in 2009, 2012 and 2015..all on my current- and other RU-vid channels...Here..nice one after the 14:12 flash....

I just had a nice unexpected thunderstorm here and I got a huge crash in the last and final part from my back facing bedroom window, I still have a ton of videos from July 2nd to upload as well as a couple from the ninth and 10th and now four clips from tonight.
This is like what I got on August 4, 2023, where it started with tons of far away lightning bolts, then extremely close lightning bolts. I didn't get a video of when it was a ways away, before going over us. If I did, then it could have been 40 minutes long!
Right, me too! Just fixed the title with the correct word lol, hopefully we get more storms like this this year, I got an incredible lightning show from distant stuff on the fourth. I can’t wait to put that up and some more decent stuff on the second to actually.
