In what is found to be a territorial fight between lions, in which one injered Male lion got attacked by three other Male Lions. Surprisingly the Hippos which were soothing themselves in the river came out to help the victim.
100 procent agree, My brother didn't give me food I lost conscience several times because of hungry no money to buy food, I was immigrant, We lived in Chicago, but unknown man which I don't know help me with car food money
Hippo going on land first time: "is there any problems in here?" Lions: "no sir everything is cool" *continue attacking* Hippos second time: "I saidddd is there any problem in here?" Lions: "damnn n***a chill man"
That injured lion seemed to know exactly how close it could sit near the hippos without getting attacked, and using them to deter the other lions from attacking it. Not that it will survive by doing that, but you know, its options were kinda limited.
I won’t deny this is very disheartening to watch, but what do you suppose this person do? Intervene and attack like, three or two lions with a cellphone/camera and ultimately be of no help, or let nature do it’s thing and somehow some way, the lion manages to survive as shown in the video. It’s like half of the comment section has never even heard of the term survival of the fittest.
The presence of elephant trumpeting in the bushes and the Hippo dare move ..might have helped the injured lion as u can see it can't stand on its hind legs.... As usual life in wilderness is cruel...
So the hippo didn’t help the lion. The lion had a broken spine and couldn't move. The hippo went to investigate and scare the lions away, but in fact, it only prolonged the suffering of the injured lion as it has zero chance of recovering a broken spine. This is all completely normal and happens to almost all male lions (if you disregard those who are shot by humans)
No humans shouldn't, the hippo shouldn't of even done anything, that lion is obviously old and suffering letting it die would be putting it out of its misery!
I think hippos probably are just trying to take out anything they view as a threat even with Crocs they live together but when Crocs trying attacking animals hippos generally step in
That’s not what at all’s happening. The fight started because it’s how prides work, the old male king has to fight for his role as the prides leader, if he isn’t for enough to rule and protect his ladies and brothers he is either banished or killed from the pride. The old lion here has a broken spine, he has no control over his back legs. Yes it’s sad but it’s nature and the lions could not care less the eldest cats backs broken. The hippo did not “save” the lion, it simply tried to protect its territory and saw the old lion as no threat to his herd or land. The old lion , most likely died after this or got killed by other or the same lions. Nature isn’t kind but it’s so gorgeous.
It happens all the time with male lions. Some male lion collisions have reportedly killed over 100 lions (cubs and adult males), eventually, when they got old, they suffered the same fate. Almost no male lions dies in peace of old age.. the most famous lion called scarface did manage to die in peace..
It happens with male lions, they want their Cubs to be strong. Also they want their prides leader to be strong and able to protect the lionesses and other lions
We humans literally take everything from nature. I think its very stupid when people say , we should not intervene, let nature be etc, but we cannot mange to leave nature alone, we have to take almost everything from nature and kill animals, thats not minding your own business?? so if we can do that we can also help animals, idk shoot a gun in the air so they run away? just an example, in most cases where u film in areas with those kinda animals you have some sort of protection?
@@KatariaGujjari don't think picking on the weak is necessary for survival. Like nah, these male lions wanted to pick on another. It also most likely wasn't a hunger motive as lions don't tend to partake in cannibalism only out of desperation. Picking on others isn't just a human thing and animals do it to each other all the time, especially social animals like us. Yes, many animals are capable of killing for sport as hunting releases a positive chemical for them and within our own species. Ie, Chimps, Orcas, Dolphins, Elephants, Cats, Crows, etc. Killing and taunting others for sport was never just a human thing.
@@Slomurr Male lions don’t hunt for food, the female ones do all the hunting. The male lions only job is to laze around all day and protect the pride from other lions. They aren’t “picking” on him. They are protecting their territory, because otherwise that “weak” Lion will attempt to take their females and kill all the children that aren’t his. Don’t put your human morals on animals.
Not really Siberian tigers stamina is trash and they get tired far to fast. The tiger would definitely lose if one on one there’s a chance but it depends on the tiger and the lion.
oh i see this place is not from Philippines thats why the admin is coward to help the needy ones. .here in Philippines we always defend the one who is in danger and punish or beat the bad one or worst killed the uncontrolled one.
That’s ignorant. Humans breaking the natural order of things so that they can boost their ego is why so many animals are displaced from their natural territories and are endangered. These people aren’t helping because they don’t have the right to intrude, it’s illegal. This is a territorial fight, they aren’t bullying him for no reason, he’s crossing into a boundary that they are protecting, these lions aren’t evil, they are doing what their instincts are telling them to do because this is what protects them and their family. If you want to help animals, stay off their land and stop trying to interfere with them.
