D.C Motorbiker, do you think D.C and Virginia will ever allow, like California, motorcycles to lane split in the very NEAR future? I live in northern Virginia and will have my 2023/24 MV Agusta Rush 1000 Limited Edition delivered in the next 2 months. My wife is also having her 2023/24 MV Agusta Assen Edition delivered around the same time I have mine since we ordered 2 bikes on the same day at the dealer. I could have gone to California(La) to buy it, but chose to buy it from a dealer in Virginia. There are 3 or 4 master mechanics, including the dealership, that specialize in working on Ducati's and MV Agusta's that are within 1 hour drive from where we live. So, maintenance not an issue :)

I definitely support lane splitting and hope D.C. and Virginia will follow California's lead soon. I doubt the DMV will allow lane splitting. Even the bicyclist crash rate is so high here. Congrats on the new bikes! It’s great that you have solid local support for maintenance-sounds like you’re all set for some amazing rides.
