I think they might let the candles dry on there, but dont trust me because i am extremely uninformed on this subject. This is just a guess.

The Slate is the bridge between the cooling bucket and the dipping pots to stop the wax droplets that come off of the freshly dipped candles from falling onto the floor. It's pretty much a candle bib, hence why it's thoroughly covered in wax.

I don’t know if you have ever put your finger in wax after burning a candle. It’s warm for a second then just feels like your body temperature

It's not like she had to take the color from the dried wax and then break off the color that goes in the same color and then put it in the color wax spot it goes in. Like, she doesn't even have to put all the pink in the pink wax or the green in the green wax or the blue in the blue wax or even the white in the white wax! She can put a bit of pink or blue in the green and a bit of blue and green in the pink or even a a bit of different wax colors in the pink, green or even blue. She can only put a little bit of other colors in the white because she doesn't want to ruin the white color, all the other colors are ok to put any other color into it but you can't just seperate the colors into their own color.

Yes. She makes a Basic white candle, dips it in layer up layer of various color wax and then carves the candle. There are other videos on the channel showing this

The wax is actually heated so whenever she puts a wax chunk in the container it melts into the rest of the wax. It’s also not boiling hot, its just hot enough for a human to put a hand in the wax, as shown in some of her other videos. Hope this helps! And don’t hesitate to correct me if I get something wrong.
