Extremely Versatile Clip-On Light! // LEDLENSER Solidline SC4R 

Great review. I own 7-8 different headlamps which I mostly bought for running at night, but all have specific features which make them better for different tasks. Despite owning more expensive LedLensers and Black Diamonds, I find myself reaching for my SuperCheap Auto one or my cheap no-name $8 one, when walking the dog at night. They both have this same 'immediate area' lighting style which gives an almost 180 degree spread, means you can keep an eye what he's doing either side of the path without having to move your head around too much. The SCA one also has a traditional throw lens which is best of both worlds when the dog lags behind or runs ahead, but if you keep your dog on leash or they stick by you, I imagine this clip-on would be equally good, and great for people who don't like the headlamps/straps on their heads (they're not always the most comfortable).

I got the sc4r for my lbv but the geasture control doesnt work. Led lenser not really interested in my complaint.

No USB C, no sale for me. Looks to be a capable little light otherwise.
